In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Mawaddah Association is pleased To present to you pictures from the lives of the Companions By Abd al-Rahman Rafat al-Basha May God have mercy on him Abbad bin Bishr May God be pleased with him Abbad bin Bishr A bright, shining name in the history of the call to Muhammadiyah If you seek Him among the servants I found him pure and pious Sustenance of the night with parts of the Qur’an And if you ask for it among the heroes Its thousand is the quantity of fever Fighting battles to uphold the word of God And if you search for him among the guardians I saw him as strong and entrusted with Muslim money Until Aisha said about him and two other people from his people Three of the Ansar No one was superior to them They are all from Bani Abdul Ashhal Saad bin Moaz And Usayd bin Al-Hudayr And Abbad bin Bishr It was Abbad bin Bishr Al-Ashhali When the first ray of Muhammad’s guidance appeared on the horizons of Yathrib The temptation of the abundant youth He fell asleep You can see in his face the look of chastity and purity The sobriety of an elderly person is hinted at in his behavior Even though he was only twenty-five years old at that time He met with the young Meccan preacher Musab bin Umair I quickly united his hearts with the bonds of faith He united himself with what was noble in character and noble in character He listened to Musab reciting the Qur’an in his warm, silvery voice And his melodious, captivating tone He was passionate about God’s words out of love And He made room for him in the woods of his heart He made it his business He used to repeat it day and night And his solution and his departure He was even known among the Companions as the Imam And a friend of the Qur’an The Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was praying one night Aisha met the one next to the mosque Then he heard the voice of Abbad bin Bishr reciting the Qur’an, soft and clear Gabriel also revealed it to his heart He said: O Aisha, this is the voice of Abbad bin Bishr She said: Yes, O Messenger of God He said, “Oh God, forgive him.” Abbad bin Bishr witnessed all of his scenes with the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him In each of them, he had a position befitting the bearer of the Qur’an From that The Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him When he returned from the Battle of Dhat Al-Riqa' He settled with the Muslims in a reef area to spend the night there During the campaign, one of the Muslims had taken captive a polytheist woman In the absence of her husband When the husband came and did not find his wife I swear to God and glory to join the Prophet Muhammad and his companions And he will not return unless he sheds blood from them The Muslims hardly put their foot down among the people Until the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, told them Who guards us this night? Then Abbad bin Bishr and Ammar bin Yasser rose to him He said: We are, O Messenger of God The Prophet was a brother between them when the immigrants came to Medina And when they came out to the mouth of the people Abbad bin Bishr said to his brother Ammar bin Yasser Which parts of the night do you prefer to sleep in? First or last Ammar said Rather, I sleep at first And hunger is not far from it The night was calm and peaceful It was the star, the tree, and the stone She praises her Lord and sanctifies Him The soul of Abbad bin Bishr longed for worship His heart longed for the Qur’an The best thing he liked was the Qur’an If you return it in prayer It combines the joy of prayer into the joy of recitation So he turned to the Qiblah and entered into prayer He started reading from Surah Al-Kahf With his melodious, sweet voice While he was bathing in this divine light, Asna Drenched in the glory of His light I accept the man's urging steps When he saw servants from afar Erected in the mouth of the people He knew that the Prophet and his companions were inside it And he is the people's keeper Futori his bow He took an arrow from his quiver and threw it So he put it in it So Abbad snatched it from his body He continued his recitation flowingly Deeply immersed in his prayers The man threw another one at him So he put it in it So he snatched it as he had snatched it before He shot him with a third So he snatched it as he had snatched it before He crawled until tomorrow, close to his owner And he woke him up saying Get up, the wounds have made me worse When the man saw them And no escape A gesture came from Ammar to Abbad He saw copious blood bleeding from his three wounds And he said to him Oh Glory be to God Didn't you wake me up when the first arrow shot you? Abbad said I was reading a surah I did not like to cut it until I was done with it And I swear to God If it weren't for my fear of missing a gap The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, ordered me to preserve it Cutting myself off would be more beloved to me than cutting it off When the apostasy wars broke out during the reign of Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him Al-Siddiq prepared a large army to eliminate the strife of Musaylimah the liar And subjugating the apostates who supported him And return them to the fold of Islam Abbad Ibn Bishr was at the forefront of that army He saw Abbad during the battles in which the Muslims did not achieve significant victory From the dependence of the Ansar on the immigrants The Muhajireen depended on the Ansar His chest was filled with hardship and hardship He heard from their conversations what filled his ears with coals and thorns We are certain that there will be no success for Muslims in these fierce battles Unless each of the two groups is distinct from the other To bear his responsibility alone Let the patient Mujahideen know the truth On the night before the decisive battle Abbad Ibn Bishr saw what a sleeper sees The sky has relieved him When he entered her, she embraced him She closed her door on him When the morning came, he told Abu Saeed Al-Khudri about his vision He said, “By God, this is the martyrdom, Abu Saeed.” When day broke, the fighting resumed Against the servants of Ibn Bishr, a rebellion from the earth And he started shouting, O people of Ansar! They distinguished themselves from the people and smashed their eyelids with swords Do not let Islam come from you He still repeats that call Until about 400 of them gathered around him At their head is Thabit Ibn Qais Al-Baraa is Ibn Malik Abu Dujana is the owner of the sword of the Messenger of God Abbad Ibn Bishr and those with him left He splits the ranks with his sword He falls dead on his chest Until the strength of Musaylimah the liar and those with him was broken And take refuge in the garden of death And there at the garden walls Abbad Ibn Bishr fell as a martyr Covered with his blood It contains sword strikes The stabs of spears and the impact of arrows They didn't even know him Except with a mark on his body Three of the Ansar No one was superior to them Saad Ibn Maad and Usayd Ibn Al-Hudayr And the servants of Ibn Bishr are Aisha, the Mother of the Believers
