On the authority of Omar bin Al-Asir, may God be pleased with him, he said

He used to accept his face and his speech at me
I even thought I was the best of people
So I said, O Messenger of God
I am Khair or Abu Bakr
Abu Bakr said
So I said, O Messenger of God
I am better or older
Omar said
So I said, O Messenger of God
I am Khair or Othman
Othman said
When I asked the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, he believed me
I found that I had not asked him
In this hadith

That is, he answered my question with an honest and truthful answer

This is one of the methods of treating soul diseases before they become established
Treating the afflictions of hearts before they become severe
By stopping the breath at its limit

And he said
I wish I had not asked him
That is, I loved and wished that I had not asked him out of shame

In this hadith

Pay with what is best

On the authority of Muhammad bin Al-Mankadri, he said:
I heard Jabir Ibn Abdullah, may God be pleased with him, say what he said

It was the best in the month of Ramadan

The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not save anything for tomorrow
In this hadith

He was saving nothing for himself
This is due to his generosity and trust in his Lord
Except to be a source of sustenance for his family and children

Which indicates that he was saving his family’s livelihood for their Sunnah
