In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. [The speaker begins with a metaphor of a workshop or a foundation.] What is the responsibility of every Muslim? Regarding the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. After having mentioned and clarified throughout our previous sessions, the importance of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestine, from the perspective of Islamic law and creed, and that it is among the most venerated sanctities in our religion, and having established that it is the cause of every Muslim, while dissolving all differences, and that it is a trust upon the neck of every Muslim, it is incumbent upon us in this station to identify, the most important and prominent responsibilities incumbent upon every Muslim, and what they ought to do. Indeed, the duty and responsibility to support Al-Aqsa, weighs heavily upon us, with the intensification of the schemes and dangers, that surround our sanctities, especially given the division and weakness, that the Ummah is experiencing, and the way enemies are attacking it from every direction. Among the greatest, most important, and most urgent responsibilities, is reviving the spirit of religious and creedal loyalty to that cause, and raising children with an upbringing rooted in faith, and planting the love of Al-Aqsa Mosque in their hearts. For the most dangerous issue facing Muslims today, is the extraction of religious loyalty from their souls, and the weakening of the love for Al-Aqsa. There is a necessity to keep the cause present in all circumstances and times, and not to despair, lose hope, or become submissive, no matter how weak or divided the Ummah becomes. Let us look at the stance of Nur al-Din Zengi, may Allah have mercy on him, in Aleppo, how he decided to commission the pulpit seventy years after Al-Aqsa was occupied by the Crusaders. Their situation was worse than the state we are in now, to the point that passersby would walk by him and mock him. “And he was building the ship, and every time that chieftains of his people passed him, they made mock of him. He said: Though ye make mock of Us, yet We mock at you even as ye mock;” (11:38) He passed away, may Allah have mercy on him, before seeing it in Al-Aqsa, and it was placed there after him by Salah al-Din. Supplication is a great weapon that many neglect. Therefore, one must remember Al-Aqsa and dedicate a portion of our time and prayers, to supplicating for it and for its people who are oppressed therein. Knowing the virtues of Al-Aqsa Mosque and its religious importance, spreading it among generations, studying it, and reminding others of it. Educating all segments of society about everything related to it. Knowing the history of Jerusalem from reliable sources, and what has been narrated regarding its news, events, and Islamic heritage, so that the Muslim may be fortified against the skepticism raised about it, regarding the location and status of Al-Aqsa Mosque, by Orientalists and Jewish researchers, and even by some Arab thinkers and intellectuals. Knowing the enemies and the usurpers of our land, their schemes, their cunning, and their criminality, and their creeds and history, just as Allah, Glory be to Him, has informed us, and His Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, has informed us about them. By doing so, we combine textual evidence with reality. Investing and mobilizing all segments and energies, to support Al-Aqsa Mosque, and making that a priority for everyone. Employing all financial, technical, and technological capabilities, as well as scientific and official and popular media, and harnessing them to serve Al-Aqsa Mosque. Working to populate Al-Aqsa Mosque, with worshippers, those in spiritual retreat, and those stationed in defense. Supporting circles of knowledge and Qur'an memorization, and religious courses held within it. Supporting all the needs of Al-Aqsa Mosque, in terms of restoration, construction, and development, and maintenance and rehabilitation. Financial support for the people of Jerusalem specifically, and Palestine generally, for all their needs, educational, health, and living requirements, to help them remain steadfast and resilient, and to ensure their presence, in view of what the Jews are doing, through schemes to displace them. Scientific and intellectual immunity, and responding to the skeptics, regarding the status of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and their lies, and refuting their misconceptions, and responding to them with a scholarly response. This is one of the greatest forms of defending the sanctities, against what is being plotted to destabilize and cast doubt, to weaken the religious aspect, and the historical status, in the souls of the Ummah, and consequently, it becomes easy to seize, our sanctities, for the longest period of time. Among the greatest responsibilities, entrusted to educational institutions, which ought to have a major role, and a great responsibility, in guiding the youth and the generations, and introducing them to their sanctities, their virtues, the love for them, and their glorious history. The responsibility of preparing specialized curricula, at all academic levels, starting from the primary stage, and the middle and secondary stages, and even the university level, in all its various stages, provided that these are graded curricula, according to age groups, keeping in mind what the Jews are doing, by teaching curricula, from the first grade of primary school, until the final stages of secondary school, which include recreational trips, to all regions of the country, and the falsification of history, and the invention of a myth for every place. Media institutions, must bear their responsibility, towards Al-Aqsa Mosque, by allocating sufficient and comprehensive space, within their programming schedules, and not being content with mere reactions, or only in times of war, by publishing news and some events. People are now very influenced by the media, and it must take its role, and its true, actual place, towards this important cause. Scholars and preachers, students of knowledge, and orators, must, remind people of Al-Aqsa Mosque, without waiting for annual occasions, such as "the anniversary of this" or "the anniversary of that." Rather, there must be, programs, activities, and forums, and conferences within the boundaries of Islamic law, that revive the spirit of loyalty, and keep the cause at the forefront and in constant presence. Spreading the culture of sacrifice and giving, and supporting charitable, endowment, and relief projects, in Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem specifically, and all regions of Palestine generally, which alleviates the injustice and oppression, that our people there are subjected to. Charitable institutions and merchants must take responsibility, and follow up on their needs for their resilience, steadfastness, and ribat (stationing). And confronting all the Zionist schemes that never cease. Introducing special courses in universities, and higher degrees related to Al-Aqsa Mosque, its history, and its virtues, and opening academies specialized in this field. Spreading the culture of Jerusalem among families of all backgrounds. If there were a family meeting every week, in which a part, a virtue, or a history is discussed, the cause would remain present in the souls of everyone. Striving to sponsor orphans and widows in Palestine, and providing relief to needy families, and the families of prisoners and martyrs, and this is the minimum duty. Striving to create development and endowment projects, and strengthening the economic aspect for the Palestinians, and especially the people of Jerusalem. Creating research and visual competitions for various groups, regarding Al-Aqsa Mosque. Supporting all institutions, projects, and programs that work for the sake of Al-Aqsa, and assisting, strengthening, and establishing them, and increasing the number of civil institutions working in this field. Investing in technologies and social media for everything related to Al-Aqsa, and the suffering of the people of Palestine. Activating the economic role in developing and strengthening the Palestinian economy, and conversely, boycotting all commercial companies affiliated with the Zionists, cutting off all cultural, commercial, and tourism dealings, with any Zionist entities or those supporting them. Yes, the place of prayer. We are a sun that does not set. If the caller calls, we respond. We return the right, intact. We support the beloved Al-Aqsa. In it, the best of creation prayed. It is indeed the best place of prayer. The landing place of the trustworthy revelation. The place of mission for the messengers. The qibla for the Muslims. The destination for the conquerors. In it, the best of creation prayed. It is indeed the best place of prayer. It is indeed the best place of prayer.
