In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Say: Are those who know equal to those who do not know? The splendor of knowledge among the wise By Dr. Hamzah bin Faye Alif Taihi May God protect him The trade-off between knowledge and money Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, said Knowledge is better than money Because you guard money and knowledge guards you And money is consumed by expenses Knowledge is better than spending Science is the ruler And the money is doomed The money tank died and they lived And the scholars will remain for the rest of the world Their eyes are missing Their effects on hearts are present Money tempts many people And they are fascinated by it This is the reason why groups of them turn away from knowledge And their immersion in the world, collecting and seeking it It is unfortunate They believe in money, all glory and glory They forgot the glories of science and its excellence And his glory exceeds all wealth and adornment Kings and the rich may request it They wished they could join his family Or they achieved a little of it Perhaps, may God be pleased with him, he has good poetry Pride is only for people of knowledge On guidance for those who seek guidance One of the reasons he prefers it over money That you are guarding him And knowledge protects you Money is wasted on expense Knowledge is blessed by spending Knowledge is ruling and money is ruling The people of money died while they were alive No mention, no glory And the scholars revived Even if their eyes were gone Science has immortalized them And keep them in good memory And look at the great scholars of Islam And what their heritage includes He wrote biographies about them and their exploits You find wonder Like the four jurists Abu Hanifa and Malik Al-Shafi’i and Ahmad And the six imams Like Al-Bukhari and Muslim And a senior scholar Such as Al-Nawawi, Ibn Taymiyyah, and Ibn Al-Qayyim Those who filled our books and university theses with them While the merchants of their times Only a few of them are mentioned The purpose of these differences Force oneself to strive in it And struggle in his request Strive for it relentlessly and without procrastination It has been demonstrated by sense, reality, and outcomes Science is a luxury And his magic is brilliant Transcending all baggage and temptations And say, “My Lord, increase me in knowledge.” And peace
