In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. The prayer of the one who prays. What do you know about the miracles and divine favors in the blessed land? The prophets and their followers had diverse stances and varied circumstances. Their connection to the blessed land was characterized by many distinct features. Among the most prominent of these is the abundance of miracles that occurred to the prophets and divine favors to the saints in that land. Based on an examination of the religious texts from the Book (Qur'an) and the authentic Sunnah, historical events, and the stories of the prophets, we find that the majority of miracles, in their various forms, occurred and took place in the blessed Holy Land. It has thus become known as the land of miracles. This signifies honor, dignity, and great divine care and attention bestowed upon that land. If we were to delve into this topic and elaborate, it would take a considerable amount of time. However, we will present some examples of these miracles. The first is the birth of Ishmael from Hagar. Abraham, peace be upon him, was 86 years old at the time. Allah, the Almighty, said: “And he said: Lo! I am going unto my Lord Who will guide me.” (37:99) “My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous.” (37:100) So We gave him good news of a forbearing boy. Then, after thirteen years, Abraham was blessed with Isaac from Sarah, who was barren. And the best of angels, Gabriel, Israfil, and Mikail, gave them the good news. This occurred while they were on their way to inflict punishment upon the people of Lot. And they descended as guests upon Abraham, peace be upon him. He said, "Do you give me good news while old age has overtaken me? Then what is it that you give me good news of?" Sarah was surprised and astonished by this good news. Just as Abraham, peace be upon him, was astonished. For she was old, barren, and her husband was an elderly man. So this was among the miracles of Abraham, peace be upon him. Allah, the Almighty, said: She said, "Oh, woe to me! Shall I give birth while I am an old woman and this husband of mine is an old man?" “She said: Oh woe is me! Shall I bear a child when I am an old woman, and this my husband is an old man? Lo! this is a strange thing!” (11:72) “They said: Wonderest thou at the commandment of Allah? The mercy of Allah and His blessings be upon you, O people of the house! Lo! He is Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory!” (11:73) The mercy of Allah and His blessings be upon you, O people of the house. Indeed, He is Praiseworthy and Glorious. Among the miracles shared by Jacob and Joseph, peace be upon them, in Palestine. Allah, the Almighty, said: “When the caravan departed their father had said: Truly I am conscious of the breath of Joseph, though ye call me dotard.” (12:94) “When the caravan departed their father had said: Truly I am conscious of the breath of Joseph, though ye call me dotard.” (12:94) Unless you believe me. “(Those around him) said: By Allah, lo! thou art in thine old aberration.” (12:95) “Then, when the bearer of glad tidings came, he laid it on his face and he became a seer once more. He said: Said I not unto you that I know from Allah that which ye know not?” (12:96) “Then, when the bearer of glad tidings came, he laid it on his face and he became a seer once more. He said: Said I not unto you that I know from Allah that which ye know not?” (12:96) “Then, when the bearer of glad tidings came, he laid it on his face and he became a seer once more. He said: Said I not unto you that I know from Allah that which ye know not?” (12:96) These are two miracles. The first is that Jacob, peace be upon him, while in Palestine, smelled the scent of Joseph directly, as soon as his sons left Egypt heading towards Palestine. And the second is the miracle of Joseph's shirt, peace be upon him, which is among the most astonishing prophetic miracles in the history of the messengers on that Holy Land. And among the significant miracles throughout history in Jerusalem, which occurred only once, to the extent that the order of the universe was altered. The miracle of the Prophet of Allah, Joshua son of Nun, and Moses, peace be upon them. When he marched to conquer Jerusalem, the sun was held back from setting, until he completed its conquest. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: The sun has never been held back for any human being. Except for Joshua son of Nun. For days, he journeyed towards Jerusalem. And David, peace be upon him. The Prophet who established a great kingdom in Jerusalem, founded upon monotheism and servitude to Allah, the Exalted. He had numerous miracles. Among them was the glorification of birds and mountains with him, while people watched. Allah, the Almighty, says: "Be patient with what they say." “Bear with what they say, and remember Our bondman David, lord of might, Lo! he was ever turning in repentance (toward Allah).” (38:17) Indeed, he was ever-returning [to Allah]. "Indeed, We subjected the mountains to him, they would glorify [Allah] with him in the evening and the sunrise. And the birds, assembled. Each [mountain] was returning [to Allah]." And the softening of iron for him. It was even said that he used to handle iron just as people handle clay and wax. Allah, the Almighty, says: "And We made iron soft for him." And His support with revelation, which was the Psalms. Allah, the Almighty, says: "And to David We gave the Psalms." And perfection of strength, and the power of his kingdom, and his steadfastness and safety from any harm. Allah, the Almighty, says: “We made his kingdom strong and gave him wisdom and decisive speech.” (38:20) And He, the Exalted, says: "Be patient with what they say." “Bear with what they say, and remember Our bondman David, lord of might, Lo! he was ever turning in repentance (toward Allah).” (38:17) Indeed, he was ever-returning [to Allah]. And Solomon, peace be upon him. Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, granted him in that blessed land numerous miracles and clear signs. Rather, his entire life was a miracle, due to his extraordinary abilities, which are too great to describe. Allah, the Almighty, says: "And Solomon inherited David." “And Solomon was David's heir. And he said: O mankind! Lo! we have been taught the language of birds, and have been given (abundance) of all things. This surely is evident favour.” (27:16) "And He taught us the language of birds." “And Solomon was David's heir. And he said: O mankind! Lo! we have been taught the language of birds, and have been given (abundance) of all things. This surely is evident favour.” (27:16) "Indeed, this is the clear bounty." And among that also was the subjugation of jinn to serve him with various tasks, and his understanding of the speech of animals. And Allah gave him a great kingdom. Allah, the Almighty, says: “He said: My Lord! Forgive me and bestow on me sovereignty such as shall not belong to any after me. Lo! Thou art the Bestower.” (38:35) "No one is to be blamed after me." "Indeed, You are the Bestower." And among the most apparent miracles was the subjugation of the wind for him, which would travel from Jerusalem. “And unto Solomon (We gave) the wind, whereof the morning course was a month's journey and the evening course a month's journey, and We caused the fount of copper to gush forth for him, and (We gave him) certain of the jinn who worked before him by permission of his Lord. And such of them as deviated from Our command, them We caused to taste the punishment of flaming Fire.” (34:12) Allah the Almighty says: "And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind, its morning [was] a month's journey and its evening a month's journey." "And We made flow for him a spring of molten brass." “And unto Solomon (We subdued) the wind in its raging. It set by his command toward the land which We had blessed. And of everything We are Aware.” (21:81) And among his miracles also: his bringing the throne of Bilqis with astonishing speed. Allah the Almighty says: “One with whom was knowledge of the Scripture said: I will bring it thee before thy gaze returneth unto thee. And when he saw it set in his presence, (Solomon) said: This is of the bounty of my Lord, that He may try me whether I give thanks or am ungrateful. Whosoever giveth thanks he only giveth thanks for (the good of) his own soul; and whosoever is ungrateful (is ungrateful only to his own soul's hurt). For lo! my Lord is Absolute in independence, Bountiful.” (27:40) “One with whom was knowledge of the Scripture said: I will bring it thee before thy gaze returneth unto thee. For lo! my Lord is Absolute in independence, Bountiful.” (27:40) Rather, even his death was a miracle for him. “And when We decreed death for him, nothing showed his death to them save a creeping creature of the earth which gnawed away his staff. And when he fell the jinn saw clearly how, if they had known the Unseen, they would not have continued in despised toil.” (34:14) “And when We decreed death for him, nothing showed his death to them save a creeping creature of the earth which gnawed away his staff. And when he fell the jinn saw clearly how, if they had known the Unseen, they would not have continued in despised toil.” (34:14) So the jinn continued to work for Solomon, peace be upon him, building for him. And they had deceived the humans, telling them that they knew the unseen and had access to hidden matters. So Allah the Almighty willed to show His servants their lie in this claim. So they continued working on their tasks, and Allah decreed death upon Solomon, peace be upon him. He leaned on his staff, which was the *minsa'ah* (staff). So when people passed by him while he was leaning on it, they thought he was alive and were in awe of him. And among the miracles and divine favors also: the good news given to Zakariya about Yahya, peace be upon them. And the sign and token he was given was that he would not speak to people for three days except by gesture. Allah the Almighty says: "O Zakariya, indeed We give you good news of a boy whose name will be Yahya." And Allah the Almighty says: “He said: My Lord! Appoint a token for me. (The angel) said: The token unto thee (shall be) that thou shalt not speak unto mankind three days except by signs. Remember thy Lord much, and praise (Him) in the early hours of night and morning.” (3:41) And the honor bestowed upon Maryam, that Allah provided her with summer fruits in winter, and winter fruits in summer. Allah the Almighty says: “And her Lord accepted her with full acceptance and vouchsafed to her a goodly growth; and made Zachariah her guardian. Whenever Zachariah went into the sanctuary where she was, he found that she had food. He said: O Mary! Whence cometh unto thee this (food)? She answered: It is from Allah. Allah giveth without stint to whom He will.” (3:37) And the birth of 'Isa, peace be upon him, without a father, from a pure, virgin mother, was a great miracle and a dazzling sign. And his speaking in the cradle, and the descent of the table from heaven, and his ascension to heaven, and his reviving the dead, and his healing the blind and the leper by Allah's permission. Allah the Almighty says: "Indeed, Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Christ, Jesus, the son of Mary." And Allah the Almighty says: “He will speak unto mankind in his cradle and in his manhood, and he is of the righteous.” (3:46) And Allah the Almighty says: “And will make him a messenger unto the Children of Israel, (saying): Lo! I come unto you with a sign from your Lord. Lo! I fashion for you out of clay the likeness of a bird, and I breathe into it and it is a bird, by Allah's leave. I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I raise the dead, by Allah's leave. And I announce unto you what ye eat and what ye store up in your houses. Lo! herein verily is a portent for you, if ye are to be believers.” (3:49) "So I shall breathe into it [life]," “And will make him a messenger unto the Children of Israel, (saying): Lo! Lo! herein verily is a portent for you, if ye are to be believers.” (3:49) "and I shall heal the blind and the leper," “And will make him a messenger unto the Children of Israel, (saying): Lo! Lo! herein verily is a portent for you, if ye are to be believers.” (3:49) "and I shall inform you of what you eat," "and what you store up in your houses." "Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers." As for the miracles of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, concerning the blessed land, they are numerous. Among its greatest, most important, and most evident miracles is the miracle of the Night Journey and Ascension. And the great signs that occurred therein, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque being revealed to him, describing it to Quraysh, and his good news of the conquest of Jerusalem, and the identification of Moses' grave, and his informing us about the state of Al-Aqsa Mosque in our time. What a wonderful place of prayer. We are the sun that never sets. If the caller invites, we respond. We return the truth intact. We defend our beloved Al-Aqsa. In it is the best of creation, peace be upon him. Indeed, it is a wonderful place of prayer. The descent of the trustworthy revelation, a place of sending for the messengers, a qiblah for the Muslims, a triumph for the conquerors. In it is the best of creation, peace be upon him. Indeed, it is a wonderful place of prayer. Indeed, it is a wonderful place of prayer.
