He said to me: Why do I see you broken?
I said, O Messenger of God
My father was martyred
He left me children and a debt
He said: Shall I not give you good news of what God met your father with?
I said, “No, O Messenger of God.”
He said that God had never spoken to anyone
Except from behind a veil
And your father revived, so he spoke to him in combat without a veil
He said, “O my servant, wish upon me and I will grant you.”
He said, “O my Lord, revive me so that I may be killed for Your sake again.”
The Lord Almighty said
I have already said that they will not return to it
He said, O Lord, so inform those behind me
So God Almighty revealed this verse
And do not think that those who were killed in the cause of God are dead
Rather, they are alive and provided with their Lord
My father's grave was uncovered
When Muawiyah, may God be pleased with him, made a spring

So I hastened to my father's grave
I found it soft as we buried it
And one day I got sick

He found that I had fainted
So he made ablution
Then he poured his ablution on me
So I woke up
So I said, O Messenger of God
