Rather, the criticism and the subject of denial.

Over loyalty to Islam and Muslims.
So if the citizen is righteous and pious.
Then this is good upon good.
And there is no blame on one who finds an inclination.
Towards a righteous Muslim from his relatives and people of his country.
But it is not permissible to prioritize him over someone who is more righteous than him.
