The necessity of paying attention to understanding the two types of divine laws.
Since both cosmic laws and social laws are among the divine laws,
one ought to apply their intellect and reflection to both of them,
so as to remain in constant connection with Allah.
However, what occurs, unfortunately, is the opposite.
The Muslim community has neglected to examine the cosmic laws.
While some may have held fast to studying social laws,
the majority of them have neglected to examine those as well.
Consequently, the Muslim community has fallen far behind.
It has fallen under the dominance of the disbelieving Western society,
and has even changed in its social behavior.
It collapsed and lost its leadership of the world,
and as a result, its ideals and values were lost.
Western society has made astonishing progress in studying cosmic laws,
and through this, it has achieved significant material advancement.
Its material civilization has flourished greatly,
yet it has neglected social laws and their study,
as well as acting in accordance with them in many matters.
Thus, it has collapsed morally and become afflicted with turmoil, anxiety, and confusion,
and psychological and neurological illnesses have become widespread within it,
which portends the collapse of their civilization as well.
