The birth and satisfaction of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was born on Monday
From the month of Rabi` al-Awwal of the Year of the Elephant
Imam Muslim narrated in his Sahih
On the authority of Abu Qatada Al-Ansari, may God be pleased with him, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was asked about fasting on Mondays
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
In it was born and in it was revealed to me
There was a difference of opinion in specifying the Monday of the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal
In which the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was born
The general opinion is that it is the twelfth day of the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal
Ibn Ishaq restricted his biography to him
Imam Ahmad and Al-Tirmidhi narrated it with a good chain of transmission
On the authority of Qais Ibn Makhramah, may God be pleased with him, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and I were born in the year of the Elephant
Al-Hakim narrated in Al-Mustadrak with a good chain of transmission on the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him, who said
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was born in the year of the Elephant
Amna bint Wahb breastfed her son, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, for several days
There was little milk
Then Thuwaybah, Abu Lahab’s servant, breastfed him
This was before Halima Saadia presented
The two sheikhs narrated it in their Sahihs
On the authority of Umm Habiba bint Abi Sufyan, may God be pleased with her
She said to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
We say that you want to marry the daughter of Abu Salamah
He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
Daughter of Umm Salamah
I said yes
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
If she had not been my stepdaughter and under my guardianship, she would not have been permissible for me
It's for my foster niece
Thuwaybah and Abu Salamah breastfed me
Do not show me your daughters or sisters
