A hadith and commentary. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "The strong believer is better than the weak believer," "yet there is good in both." Commentary: Reflect on how even the weak believer possesses goodness, as stated by the Prophet, peace be upon him. "Yet there is good in both." For the believer, by virtue of their faith alone, is attributed to goodness. This is because faith is of immense significance in the sight of Allah. Allah the Exalted has spoken of those who prefer the disbelievers over the believers, “Hast thou not seen those unto whom a portion of the Scripture hath been given, how they believe in idols and false deities, and how they say of those (idolaters) who disbelieve: "These are more rightly guided than those who believe"?” (4:51) and He condemned them for that and threatened them with punishment.
