Summary of Sunni concepts
Faith in the books is comprehensive and detailed
Believers must have total faith
That God has sent down the Books to His prophets and messengers
And all the news and rulings in it are true
It was obligatory for every people to follow what was revealed to them in their book
Which has not been distorted
Because God Almighty does not waste His creation
Rather, He makes clear to them the truth in what He revealed to them in the Books
As for detailed faith, it includes matters such as:
Belief in the names of the books that God has informed me of
There are 6 in number
The Books of Abraham, the Books of Moses, and the Psalms of David
And the Torah revealed to Moses
And the Gospel revealed to Jesus, peace be upon them all
The last of that is the Noble Qur’an revealed to our Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace
It also includes
Faith in every piece of news from these books has reached us in the correct way
For example, it is
Belief that the scriptures of Abraham and Moses, peace be upon them
It has been stated in it that no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another
And that man has nothing but what he strives for
As God Almighty said
Or was he not informed of what was in the scrolls of Moses?
And Abraham, who fulfilled his duty
That no female servant should bear the burden of another
And that man has nothing but what he strives for
And faith also in what is stated in them from the words of God Almighty
Rather, you prefer the life of this world
The afterlife is better and more lasting
This was in the early newspapers
The newspapers of Abraham and Moses
As for the provisions contained therein
We also believe in what has been proven in it and has reached us in an authentic way
But there is the following detail
We do not do anything that violates our law
Because our law abrogates it
Although it was true in its time
We do what agrees with our law
Because our law approved and legitimized it
Unless there is contradiction or agreement in our law
It is most likely that we work with it
And the rule is that
If it was legislated by us, it was legislated for us
Unless it violates our law
And from the faith detailed in the books
Faith in the details of the Holy Quran
And all that it contains and its provisions
