Summary of Sunni concepts Issues of disagreement and issues of ijtihad Some do not differentiate between matters of disagreement and matters of ijtihad This misconception is common among people who have this misconception There is no denial in matters of disagreement This is a wrong statement and a corrupt belief Not every disagreement is valid and the work is based on it in any of its aspects Rather, the disagreement that is opposed by a text from the Qur’an or Sunnah It is an abnormal dispute that is not considered and is rejected by its owner This is an invalid statement Denial should be limited to Islamic law only Concerning definite and necessary evils, there is consensus that they are evil Difference is not an argument in itself Rather, the Qur’an and Sunnah are evidence against those who differ from the first and the last A scholar may disagree with his question Because he did not reach the hadith contained therein Or because you believe it is not true Or because he was distracted by it during the dispute In that case, it is not permissible to follow this scholar even though there is evidence that contradicts his statement In addition to other reasons mentioned by Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah in his valuable book Lifting blame from eminent imams And one of the implications of this corrupt statement Serious contractual violation When the correct, proven Sunnah is reported from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace Because there were those who disagreed on this issue This means that the sayings of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his orders It only gains its legitimacy when people agree on it This is a dangerous behavior that contradicts the origin of Islam Which means surrender to the commands of God Almighty And the orders of His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace The correct statement that is accepted in this field There is no denial in matters of ijtihad Issues of ijtihad are those in which there is no binding evidence or clear text It must be clearly implemented Or the diligence was in the jurisprudence of balances between interests and harms In that case, it is permissible to exercise ijtihad on the issue due to conflicting or hidden evidence A person takes what his diligence leads him to, if he is a scholar Or what he is comfortable with and trusts in regarding the diligence of scholars, if he is an imitator
