Fifth: Allah, 00:15:22.139 --> 00:15:28.100 Blessed and Exalted, has prepared for His believing servants elevated stations in the abode of His honor that 00:15:28.100 --> 00:15:33.899 their deeds alone could never attain; hence, He decreed for them trials and tribulations as a means to reach 00:15:33.899 --> 00:15:39.779 those heights. For had there been no jihad, the Muslims would never have attained al-Firdaws al-A'la 00:15:39.779 --> 00:15:45.980 with Allah, Blessed and Exalted; nor would the martyr intercede for seventy of his kin, nor 00:15:45.980 --> 00:15:51.580 be forgiven at the very first drop of his blood, nor be protected from the trial of the grave. 00:15:51.580 --> 00:15:59.740 Rather, Allah willed to elevate their ranks, and so jihad was ordained. Seventh: He, Glorified and Exalted, willed the destruction of His enemies, so He decreed 00:16:13.629 --> 00:16:18.789 the circumstances through which they brought it upon themselves through their disbelief, insolence, 00:16:18.789 --> 00:16:24.509 and tyrannical harm against His allies; thereby He purified the sins of the believers 00:16:24.549 --> 00:16:32.070 and eradicated the disbelievers. There are undoubtedly further wisdoms, yet these are 00:16:32.070 --> 00:16:36.389 some of the lessons highlighted by Imam Ibn al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy on him.
