From the Muzaina tribe
My nickname is Abu Ali
None of the Companions is known by this nickname except me
She was known for her strength and courage in wars
And with perseverance and patience in the face of adversity
It was also known for its good management and people policy
Which qualified me for the command of Basra during the reign of Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him
I converted to Islam before Hudaybiyyah
I witnessed the Pledge of Ridwan
When the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, pledged allegiance under the tree not to flee
That tree was brown
I used to raise its dignity above the face of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
He pledges allegiance to people under it
Then God Almighty revealed his saying about us
God has been pleased with the believers
When they pledge allegiance to you under the tree
He knew what was in their hearts
So He sent tranquility upon them
He rewarded them with victory soon
And they take many spoils
God is Mighty, Wise
I was standing within God's limits
Immediately obey his orders
And from that
I had a sister who would get engaged and people would stop her
Until my cousin proposed to her
So I married her to him
So take what God wills
Then he divorced her with a divorce that could take her back
Then he left her until her waiting period was over
Then he came to propose to her
She wanted to return to him
So I told him
She got engaged to me
People prevented it
And it affected you
Then I divorced her
By God, I will never give her to you
So God Almighty revealed his saying
And if you divorce women
So they reached their term
Do not change them
To marry their husbands
If they agree between them in a reasonable manner
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, invited me
Ali recited this verse
So I quit the diet
I submitted to the command of God Almighty
And I said, “I will do it now, O Messenger of God.”
So I atone for my oath
And I married her to him
I went to Basra
And I built a house there
And you dug a river with it
By order of Omar, Commander of the Faithful
May God be pleased with him
He knew that river by my name
And before my death
Ibn Ziyad's donkey came back to me
He is one of the dark princes
So I told him
I'm talking to you recently
