Forty Hadiths on the Virtue of Charity
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father):
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"There is no servant whom Allah has favored with a blessing, bestowing it upon him abundantly,
only to have the needs of the people directed to him,
and he becomes exasperated by them,
except that he has exposed that blessing to loss."
Related by al-Tabarani and graded as fair (hasan) by al-Albani.
