The Garden of Guidance Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said: "O mankind! “O mankind! The messenger hath come unto you with the Truth from your Lord. Therefor believe; (it is) better for you. But if ye disbelieve, still, lo! unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. Allah is ever Knower, Wise.” (4:170) So believe, it is better for you; “O mankind! The messenger hath come unto you with the Truth from your Lord. Therefor believe; (it is) better for you. But if ye disbelieve, still, lo! unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. Allah is ever Knower, Wise.” (4:170) And Allah is ever Knowing and Wise." And he, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "O people! Do you know what the similitude of me and you is?" They said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said: "The similitude of me and you is like a people who feared an approaching enemy, so they sent a scout ahead to keep watch for them. While they were awaiting his return, he caught sight of the enemy; so he hastened back to warn them, but feared the enemy would overtake him before he could reach his people. So he began waving his garment, calling out: 'O people, you have been overtaken! O people, you have been overtaken!' — repeating it three times." Recorded by Ahmad. Benefit: Indeed, among the greatest blessings of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, upon us is His sending us His Messenger Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, to guide us to the straight path. And Allah has placed guidance in following and obeying him, peace be upon him; He, the Exalted, said: "And if you obey him, you will be rightly guided; and the Messenger’s duty is only to convey clearly." Furthermore, his statement, peace be upon him: "O people, you have been overtaken! O people, you have been overtaken!" indicates the closeness of the Hour, which drew near with his advent, peace be upon him. Regarding it, he stated: "I have been sent, and the Hour is like these two," joining his index and middle fingers together. Agreed upon. For our lives are but numbered breaths,
