In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. It is Paradise. The description of the structure of Paradise. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. And peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad. And upon his family and all of his Companions. And furthermore, O people of Paradise Look around you. You will see the general construction of Paradise. A brick of gold. And a brick made of silver. And between one brick and the next. The fragrant musk. Intense and fragrant in scent. Your dwellings in Paradise. These are the chambers and the palaces. And the tents. These are pleasant and excellent dwellings. Allah the Exalted spoke of her. And pleasant dwellings in the Gardens of Eden. That is the supreme triumph. As for the dwellings of Paradise, their description is beyond what any human mind could ever conceive. Mere description cannot approach the reality of the matter. They are nothing more than mere imaginings. Hearing about a matter is not the same as witnessing it firsthand. I mean, regardless of the descriptions you hear now, For you are unable to fully grasp that beauty. And that grandeur. As for the chambers of Paradise, They are chambers that have been constructed. strata, one upon another. Some of them are layered one above the other. Beauty upon beauty. And a radiance above that radiance. These are chambers unlike the chambers of this world. These are the chambers. made of chrysolite and ruby One can see its interior from its exterior. And its inward reality is derived from its outward manifestation. They are established and precise foundations. Highly ornate and elevated structures. One is left bewildered when attempting to describe her beauty. And it is sufficient for us to consider what our Lord, the Exalted, has said regarding her. However, those who are mindful of their Lord “But those who keep their duty to their Lord, for them are lofty halls with lofty halls above them, built (for them), beneath which rivers flow. (It is) a promise of Allah. Allah faileth not His promise.” (39:20) “But those who keep their duty to their Lord, for them are lofty halls with lofty halls above them, built (for them), beneath which rivers flow. (It is) a promise of Allah. Allah faileth not His promise.” (39:20) “But those who keep their duty to their Lord, for them are lofty halls with lofty halls above them, built (for them), beneath which rivers flow. (It is) a promise of Allah. Allah faileth not His promise.” (39:20) And the people of Paradise will gaze upon the inhabitants of the lofty chambers above them. Just as you see the brilliant star receding on the horizon. From the East or the West. due to the varying degrees of merit among them. They shall be secure and at peace within the lofty chambers. They are in bliss and contentment. Allah the Exalted said regarding them: “And it is not your wealth nor your children that will bring you near unto Us, but he who believeth and doeth good (he draweth near). As for such, theirs will be twofold reward for what they did and they will dwell secure in lofty halls.” (34:37) And the angels shall receive them with greetings of peace. Welcoming them. “They will be awarded the high place forasmuch as they were steadfast, and they will meet therein with welcome and the ward of peace,” (25:75) “They will be awarded the high place forasmuch as they were steadfast, and they will meet therein with welcome and the ward of peace,” (25:75) The Companions asked our Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. They asked, "For whom are these chambers?" He then spoke to the one who had softened his speech. And provide food to others. And he spent the night standing in prayer for the sake of Allah. And the people are asleep. As for the tents For they are unlike the chambers and the palaces. They are tents situated within gardens. And upon the riverbanks A single tent made of a hollowed-out pearl. Its height in the sky is thirty miles. And its length is sixty miles. The width is likewise sixty miles. A tent made of a single hollowed-out pearl. You will not find anything in this world that compares or is similar to this. These tents are inhabited by the wide-eyed houris. In every corner of its corners, there are people devoted to it. They circulate among them, yet they do not see one another. Due to the vast distance between them. Allah the Almighty says: “Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions -” (55:72) And if this is the state of the chambers and the tents You can therefore imagine what those palaces must be like. The tongue is incapable of describing it. However, it suffices for you to know that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, has entered Paradise. He then saw a palace therein that pleased him. He wished to bring him in, such was his profound admiration for him. And he thought that it belonged to him. Then Jibril, peace be upon him, asked. To whom does this palace belong? He then said It belongs to ‘Umar Ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him. Once, Jibril came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. He then said O Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. This is Khadijah, who has arrived. She had with her a vessel containing food. So when it comes to you Then he recited to her, "Peace from her Lord and from me." And he gave her the glad tidings of a house in Paradise made of hollowed pearls. Therein shall be neither clamor nor fatigue. Meaning, there shall be no shouting and no clamor. And there is no fatigue or hardship in it. Allah the Almighty says: “Blessed is He Who, if He will, will assign thee better than (all) that - Gardens underneath which rivers flow - and will assign thee mansions.” (25:10) Gardens beneath which rivers flow. And He shall grant you palaces. O people of Paradise. Congratulations to you all. Your palaces are being decorated for you now. And you shall enter it, to abide therein forever. Without any fatigue or weariness. Everlasting bliss. It is not accompanied by any weariness or fatigue. And you, O people of Paradise Each one of you knows his own shortcomings. He is aware of all his possessions. He does not need to ask about it. Or someone guides him to it. Just as you depart from the Friday prayer to your homes without going astray in your understanding of them. Likewise, your homes. You know them well. It is as if you were created and raised within it. Allah the Almighty says: “And bring them in unto the Garden which He hath made known to them.” (47:6) O people of Paradise. Yet these palaces and chambers And this tent is made of hollowed-out pearl. What were its furnishings? And what is contained within them in terms of furnishings? Allah the Exalted says “Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand.” (55:54) The description and beauty of those furnishings are known to none but Allah. except for Allah, the Exalted. Its linings, through which the earth is visible, are made of thick silk. It is the finest and most luxurious of silks. How, then, can one address their outward manifestations? He, glory be to Him, drew attention to the nobility of the outward appearance. Through the nobility of the inner self. It has become customary that the outward appearance is considered better than the inner reality. And you sit and recline upon them. Sitting with composure, stability, and ease. Like the sitting of kings upon their thrones. Allah the Exalted has described these furnishings. He then said And elevated furnishings. This means they are raised high upon thrones, a magnificent elevation. High, low, and soft. Those furnishings are made of silk, gold, and pearls. And that which none knows save Allah the Exalted. As for the family, whether in palaces or in tents, So, I present to you her account. It is among the honors bestowed upon you by your Lord. You will be upon thrones of bliss. These are the elevated gatherings. Adorned with various types of luxurious coverings. The embellished and the ornate. You lean upon them. In a manner characterized by ease, tranquility, and joy. Sitting face-to-face with one another. Your hearts have become purified. And love increased among you. You find harmony in your gathering with one another. Just as Allah the Exalted has said: Upon thrones, facing one another. Thus, meeting face-to-face. It points to the meeting of hearts. And observe proper conduct with one another. Therefore, let none of you look at the backs of one another. The family revolves around you however you wish. And this joy is intricately woven. Meaning, woven from gold. He has interwoven the threads of some with others. Interwoven with pearls and rubies. When the believer sits upon it. Through it, he ascended to the highest heights. Did Allah the Exalted not say: And raised couches. He also said regarding "on thrones woven with gold and jewels" Thus, it is in this state of splendor, beauty, and tranquility. And for you in Paradise, O people of Paradise. Cushions and carpets. This is among what Allah the Exalted has prepared for you therein. Allah the Exalted says: And cushions lined up in rows. And carpets spread out. The term *namariq* refers to cushions. That is, cushions made of silk and brocade. And other matters besides these, which none knows save Allah. They have been prepared for sitting and reclining upon. They have been spared the burden of having to define or describe these matters themselves. You do not need a row. It is laid out and requires no carpeting. It is a fabricated matter that does not require them to carry it. He exerts himself in spreading it out and folding it up. And re-storing them. Do not be tested. The zarabi are the fine, spread-out carpets. It is scattered here and there. It is present in every place. For whoever wishes to sit upon it. Their gatherings were filled with it from every side. So when you go for a stroll through your orchards and gardens, In the company of those you love. [They shall be served] by the fair-eyed maidens, the immortal youths, and their own children. You do not need carpets or cushions. You will find it ready for you, Prepared for your sake in every place. Reflect, O seeker of Paradise, On how Allah the Exalted described the couches as raised high, The carpets as spread out, And the cushions as lined up. The raising of the couches indicates their thickness and softness, The spreading of the carpets indicates their abundance, And that they are in every location. The description of the cushions indicates that they are prepared, For one to lean upon them at all times, Not hidden away or arranged only at certain times. Its construction consists of bricks of gold, And others of silver—two different types. Its palaces are made of pearl and chrysolite, Or silver, or pure refined gold, As well as pearls and rubies, Arranged in the structure with the utmost perfection. Its chambers in the air allow one to see their interior From their exterior, and their exterior from their interior. Its inhabitants are those who stood in prayer and fasted, Who entered through generosity and excellence. Two things are the exclusive right of Allah, the Glorified, And His servants also have two things. For the servant therein is a tent of pearl, Hollowed out, crafted by the Most Merciful. Sixty miles is its height in the air, And in every corner are the most beautiful of women. A veil covers them all, so they do not see One another; this is due to the vastness of the space. Within it are pavilions with doors of Gold and pearls, adorned with coral. Its tents are pitched in its gardens, And along the banks of the flowing rivers. In the tents are none but those who, if they were to face The sun and the moon, you would say they were eclipsed by them. To Allah belong those tents; how many Attachments and sorrows they stir in the heart! In them are houris, restraining their glances, Good and beautiful; they are the best of beauties. In it are thrones, which are couches, Upon which are canopies of many colors. O Allah, grant us Paradise and its bliss. O Allah, we ask You for the highest level of Paradise, Without reckoning or prior punishment. O Allah, answer our prayer; the journey continues. It is Paradise.
