Say: Are those who know and those who do not know equal?
The splendor of knowledge according to wisdom

May God protect him
The danger of sins on knowledge
Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may God have mercy on him, said
He died in the year 28, 700 AH
Some sins are a reason for concealing useful knowledge, or some of it
Rather, it would be a reason to forget what he knew
Sins are bad for the one who commits them
One of its consequences is the concealment or disappearance of knowledge
Because sins are wounds
A wound that befell my death
Or waste a pond
Or wasted good and inherited forgetfulness
It is not suitable for a scholar or a student of knowledge
To get involved in sins that upset his mind
Or spoil his goodness
Or his mind and jurisprudence are distorted
And who feels the sweetness of knowledge and the seriousness of sins
Keep it straight
He preserved his knowledge
And control his behavior
He did not fight with the traitors
Ibn al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him, was a student of Sheikh al-Islam
Nafis's words are useful in providing an adequate answer
Among the evils of disobedience for its perpetrator are the following
Disobedience leaves its perpetrator with loneliness in the heart
It will be a reason for depriving you of knowledge and success
This is because the heart is the house of the Lord
In reverence and reverence
If he lived without mentioning his master, he would be wronged
And as much as the servant turns away from the remembrance of God
He suffers from distress, chest tightness, and shortness of breath
Wherever its owner starts in life, he is unhappy
Because the pious is the happy one
Ibn Abbas and Anas, may God be pleased with them, said
Good deeds have light in the heart
And we are beautiful in the face
Strength in the body and abundance of livelihood
And love in the hearts of creation
Indeed, evil deeds bring darkness in the heart and shame on the face
Weakness in the body and lack of livelihood
And hatred in the hearts of creation
Including deprivation of obedience
This is because obedience brings us closer to the King, the Judge
A servant does not find the pleasure of obedience except by staying away from disobedience
And so God Almighty said about the hypocrites
If they wanted to leave, they would have prepared for him
But God hated sending them
So he discouraged them and it was said that they sat with those who were sitting
Al-Fudayl, may God have mercy on him, said
If you are unable to pray the night prayers and fast during the day
Know that you are deprived and shackled
Your sin has bound you
A young man said to Al-Hasan Al-Basri
My notables are the night prayers
He said, “Your sins have bound you.”
