In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
A Concise Summary of the Prophetic biography (Seerah).

May Allah preserve him.
The arrival of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, at al-Hudaybiyah.
Then the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, commanded the people.
So they took the path to the right.
Through the midst of the Hamd region.
Along a route that would lead them to the mountain pass of al-Murar.
Al-Hudaybiyah is located at the lower end of Makkah.
He led the army along that path.
When the cavalry of Quraysh saw the dust of the army and realized they had deviated from their usual route,
They turned back toward Quraysh.
The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, continued on.
Until he reached the pass of al-Murar.
The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said to his Companions,
"Whoever ascends this pass, the pass of al-Murar,
Shall have his burdens removed just as the burdens of the Children of Israel were removed."
Jabir, may Allah be pleased with him, said:
The first to ascend it were our cavalry,
The cavalry of the Banu al-Khazraj.
Then the people followed in succession.
When the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, was at the pass,
The pass of al-Murar from which he was to descend toward them,
His she-camel, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, knelt down.
The people said,
"Hal, hal!" (urging it to rise).
But she remained stubborn.
They said,
"Al-Qaswa has become recalcitrant."
The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said,
"Al-Qaswa has not become recalcitrant,
Nor is that in her nature.
Rather, she has been restrained by the One who restrained the Elephant."
Then the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said,
"By Him in whose hand is my soul,
They will not ask me for any condition that honors the sacred sanctities of Allah,
But that I will grant it to them."
In another wording in the Musnad with a hasan (sound) chain of narration,
The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said,
"By Allah, Quraysh will not call me today to any condition,
In which they seek the upholding of kinship ties,
But that I will grant it to them."
Then the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, urged his camel,
And she sprang up.
He turned away from them until he camped at the furthest edge of al-Hudaybiyah,
By a shallow well from which the people drew water sparingly.
The people did not leave it until they had drained it.
Thirst was complained of to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.
He drew an arrow from his quiver,
And commanded them to place it in the well.
It continued to gush forth with water for them,
Until they had all satisfied their thirst and departed from it.
In a narration by Imam Ahmad in his Musnad with a hasan chain,
On the authority of al-Miswar bin Makhramah and Marwan bin al-Hakam,
They said:
They said, "O Messenger of Allah,
There is no water in the valley for the people to settle upon."
The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, took out,
An arrow from his quiver,
And gave it to one of his Companions.
He descended into one of those wells,
And planted it therein.
The water gushed forth,
Until the people were able to depart from it fully satisfied.
The mediation of Budayl bin Warqa', may Allah be pleased with him.
When the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, felt settled,
In his camp at al-Hudaybiyah,
Budayl bin Warqa' al-Khuza'i, may Allah be pleased with him, came to him,
While he was still a polytheist,
With a group of his people from Khuza'ah.
He said to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him,
"I have left Ka'b bin Lu'ayy,
And 'Amir bin Lu'ayy,
They have settled at the water sources of al-Hudaybiyah,
And with them are their nursing camels.
They will fight you and prevent you from reaching the House."
The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said,
"We have not come to fight anyone,
But we have come to perform 'Umrah.
Quraysh has been exhausted by war and it has harmed them.
If they wish,
I will grant them a truce for a period,
And they shall leave me and the people alone.
If I prevail,
Then if they wish to enter into what the people have entered into,
They may do so.
Otherwise, they will have rested.
But if they refuse,
Then by Him in whose hand is my soul,
I will fight them for this cause of mine,
Until my neck is severed,
And Allah will surely execute His command."
Budayl, may Allah be pleased with him, said,
"I will convey to them what you have said."
Budayl bin Warqa', may Allah be pleased with him, departed,
Along with those who were with him from Khuza'ah,
Until they came to Quraysh.
He said,
"We have come to you from this man,
And we heard him say something.
If you wish for us to present it to you,
We will do so."
Their foolish ones said,
"We have no need for you to tell us anything about him."
But the wise among them said,
"Bring what you heard him say."
He said,
"I heard him say such and such."
And he informed them of what the Prophet, peace be upon him, had said.
In a narration by Imam Ahmad in his Musnad,
On the authority of al-Miswar bin Makhramah and Marwan bin al-Hakam,
They said:
They returned to Quraysh,
And said, "O assembly of Quraysh,
You are being hasty regarding Muhammad.
Muhammad has not come to fight;
He has only come as a visitor to this House,
Honoring its sanctity."
They accused them,
And said,
"Even if he has only come for that,
No, by Allah, he shall not enter it.
He shall never enter it against our will,
Lest the Arabs speak of that."
Sending 'Uthman bin 'Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, to Quraysh.
Then the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, sent,
'Uthman bin 'Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, to Makkah,
To deliver the message of the Prophet, peace be upon him,
To the leaders of Makkah,
That he had only come to perform 'Umrah.
Imam Ahmad has narrated in his Musnad,
And al-Tahawi in Sharh Mushkil al-Athar with a hasan chain,
On the authority of al-Miswar bin Makhramah and Marwan bin al-Hakam,
They said:
The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, called,
'Umar, may Allah be pleased with him,
To send him to Makkah.
He said,
"O Messenger of Allah,
I fear for my life from Quraysh,
And there is no one from the Banu 'Adi bin Ka'b,
To protect me.
Quraysh knows of my enmity toward them,
And my harshness against them.
But I will guide you to a man more honored among them than I,
'Uthman bin 'Affan."
So the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, called him,
And sent him to Quraysh,
To inform them that he had not come for war,
And that he had only come as a visitor to this House,
Honoring its sanctity.
'Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him, departed,
Until he reached Makkah.
Aban bin Sa'id bin al-'As met him,
He dismounted from his mount,
And let him ride behind him and granted him protection,
So that he could deliver the message of the Prophet, peace be upon him.
'Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him, went on,
Until he came to Abu Sufyan and the notables of Quraysh,
And conveyed to them from the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him,
The message he was sent with.
They said to 'Uthman,
"If you wish to circumambulate the House, then do so."
'Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him, said,
"I would not do so until the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, has circumambulated it."
Quraysh detained him with them.
News reached the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and the Muslims that 'Uthman had been killed.

If the longing of the worlds for one another is long,
The longing for you has no bounds.
May Allah send blessings upon you as long as the call to prayer is raised,
And lips move with the remainder of the remembrance.
