Summary of Sunni concepts
Responding to those who do not say they disbelieve in secularism
Most of the verses mentioned are about declaring those who do not judge by what God has revealed to be unbelievers and denying their faith
It came in talking about those who claim to believe from the People of the Book
Or hypocrites pretending to be Islam
And God knows best
Except because whoever does not claim to believe in any of God’s books
He is necessarily an infidel
There is no suspicion of his disbelief
Unlike those who claim to believe
However, he rules by other than what God has revealed
His matter requires confirmation that he is one of the unbelievers
Supplication and faith are no substitute for it
So God Almighty says
And whoever does not rule by what God has revealed, those are the disbelievers
It came down to the Jews
And the Almighty said
Have you not seen those who claim that they believe in what was revealed to you?
And what was sent down before you
They want to be judged by the tyrant
They were commanded to disbelieve in him
Satan wants to mislead them far astray
And the Almighty said
No, by your Lord, they will not believe until they make you judge in what is disputed between them
Then they will not find within themselves any embarrassment at what you have decided, and they will submit with complete submission
It came down to the hypocrites
These hypocrites were praying and fasting
They claim to believe
They adhere to many of the apparent rituals of Islam
This did not prevent them from being labeled as infidels and unbelievers
Because of their abandonment of ruling by what God has revealed and being judged by it
No one should protest against secularism being disbelieved
It does not deny the existence of God
It does not prevent the performance of worship rituals
Religious institutions and clerics are ostensibly respected
Religion is an indivisible whole
As God Almighty said
O you who have believed, enter into peace altogether
And do not follow the steps of Satan
He is your clear enemy
Peace is Islam
As the commentators said
And the Almighty said
Indeed, those who disbelieve in God and His messengers
They want to differentiate between God and His messengers
They say we believe in some and disbelieve in others
And they want to take a path in between
Those are the truly unbelievers
And We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating torment
