In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari Surah Al-Baqarah In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful And if you are on a journey and do not find a scribe You did not find an arrested writer If you secure one another Let him fulfill his trustworthiness Let him fulfill his trustworthiness And let him fear God, his Lord And do not conceal the testimony And who conceals it? For his heart is sinful And God is All-Knowing of what you do Even if you are on a journey And you did not find anyone to write for you the letter of religion that you pledged for a specified period So take your debts as mortgages that you will receive To be confident with your money If the debtor is honest with the owner of the money He did not take a mortgage from him So let him fear God, his Lord, regarding the one who owes him of the religion of his neighbour, who denies it Or trying to go with it He will be subjected to God's punishment that he cannot accept And to fulfill his debt that he entrusted to him And do not conceal your testimony, O witnesses, after you have given your testimony to the rulers Whoever conceals his testimony is immoral in his heart He acquired it by concealing it, disobeying God By God, what you do in your testimony From establishing it, carrying it out, or concealing it And other than your secret and public deeds All-Knowing, He will enumerate it for you so that He may reward you for all of that To God belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth Whether you reveal what is within yourselves or conceal it May God hold you accountable He forgives whomever He wants and punishes whomever He wants God is capable of everything God owns all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth, both small and great And to Him is the management of all of it, and in His hand is its dispensing and turning Even if it appears in your testimony of ingratitude and denial Or you hide it and hide it within yourself And other than your bad deeds, God will hold you accountable He may recompense whomever of you who are evildoers will, according to his evil deeds And He forgives whomever He wishes among you who transgress And if you reveal what is in yourselves, O people, then reveal it Or you hide it and your souls withdraw from it May God hold you accountable So your believer will know His favor by pardoning him and forgiving him So he forgives him Your hypocrite is tortured for the doubt he has harbored in himself In the oneness of his Creator and the prophecy of his prophets God Almighty forgives what the believer’s soul has hidden And the punishment of the infidel Otherwise, he is capable The Messenger believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord and the believers Everyone believes in God, His angels, His books, and His messengers We do not differentiate between any of His messengers They said, “We heard and obeyed.” Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the final destination The Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, spoke the truth So he acknowledged what was revealed to him from his Lord of the Book The believers also believed in God, His angels, His books, and His messengers with their Prophet They say we do not differentiate between any of His messengers He said everyone was a believer We heard the words of our Lord and He commanded us to do what He commanded us to do And He forbade what He forbade us from We obeyed our Lord in what He obligated us to do and submitted to Him They said: Forgive us, may God forgive you To You, O Lord, is our return and our return So forgive us our sins God does not burden a soul beyond its capacity She gets what she earned and she owes what she earned Our Lord, do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake Our Lord, do not burden us with insistence An insistence that you placed on those before us Our Lord, do not burden us with what we are not worthy of And pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us You are our Lord, so grant us victory over the disbelieving people God does not burden a soul to worship it except to what it is able to do It does not put pressure on her or stress her He takes her seriously if she wants No whispering if presented to her It is not dangerous if it crosses her heart For every soul that has tried and done good And for every soul that has done evil Our Lord, do not punish us if we forget something She imposed his work on us, but we did not work Or we made a mistake in doing something you forbade us from doing We did it without intending to disobey you But due to our ignorance and error Our Lord, do not burden us with a covenant We are unable and unable to do it It also carried it against the Jews and Christians Those who were assigned tasks and whose covenants and covenants were taken They did not do it, so they were hastened with punishment And also say, “Our Lord, do not burden us with any deeds.” What we cannot afford to do Because of the weight of his burden on us And pardon us for our shortcomings in some of the obligations you have commanded us to do Cover for us a mistake if we commit it between us and you Do not reveal it and do not expose us by revealing it And cover us with Your mercy, thereby saving us from Your punishment You are our protector with your help Because we believe in you and obey you in what you commanded us and prohibited us You are loyal to those who obey you So grant us victory, because we are your party against the disbelieving people who denied your oneness
