Seeing Allah
The negation of physical sight encompassing Allah
Does not negate seeing Him, Glorified be He, in the Hereafter.
Allah the Exalted said:
“Vision comprehendeth Him not, but He comprehendeth (all) vision. He is the Subtile, the Aware.” (6:103)
And His statement, the Exalted:
Vision perceives Him not,
Meaning that vision cannot encompass Him, even though it sees Him.
Thus, the negation of perception (encompassment) does not mean the negation of seeing.
Rather, it affirms seeing through the implication of the contrary;
For if He negates perception—which is the most specific description of seeing,
Namely, the total encompassment of the seen object, as we previously explained—
It indicates that seeing itself is established.
Had He intended to negate seeing altogether, He would have said:
"Eyes see Him not," or something similar.
Furthermore, seeing Allah is established by other textual proofs as well,
Such as the statement of Allah the Exalted:
[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant,
Looking at their Lord.
