Summary of the concepts of Ahl al-Sunnah
The call of the prophets and messengers is one.
And where their laws differed.
From belief in the messengers.
Belief that their call is one.
For every messenger called his people to worship Allah alone.
And to shun associating partners with Allah.
Allah the Almighty says:
"And We did certainly send among every nation a messenger [saying], 'Worship Allah and avoid Taghut.'"
And the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
"The prophets are brothers from different mothers."
And their mothers are different.
And their religion is one.
Agreed upon.
And brothers from different mothers (from 'allat')
are brothers from one father.
And their mothers are different.
This is an analogy.
The intention of which is to clarify.
And the religion of the messengers and prophets is one.
And it is submission of worship to Allah and His Oneness.
And where their laws differed.
In practical jurisprudential rulings.
Based on what suited each people and their time.
Until our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, came.
To all people until the Day of Resurrection.
With the same religion.
And with the final Muhammadan law.
And suitable for every time after him.
And for every place.
