Loving the world and relying on it
Love of the world is concentrated in people’s nature
As God Almighty said
Decorated for people is the love of desires for women and children
The arched centaurs are made of gold and silver
And the branded horses, and the cattle, and the tillage
That is the enjoyment of this worldly life
And God has a good return
There is no harm in this love
If it does not exceed its authorized amount
God Almighty said
Say, “Who has forbidden the adornments of God which He has provided for His servants and the good things of provision?”
Rather, blame is directed and danger lurks
When this love dominates a person's heart until he prefers this world over the afterlife
As God Almighty said
As for him who is transgressing and prefers the life of this world
Hell is the shelter
And as God Almighty said
Say if your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, and your clan
And the money you made and trade
And the trade that you fear will decline, and the dwellings that you are satisfied with, are dearer to you than God and His Messenger, and jihad in His cause
So they waited until God brought His command
And God does not guide the rebellious people
And when it comes to the point of preferring this world over the afterlife
This becomes heart disease
If it spreads throughout the nation
It causes loss of both this world and the hereafter
As he, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
Nations are about to attack you
The eaters also rushed to their bowl
Someone said:
And we are few today
He said
But you are a day when many
But you are scum like the scum of a torrent
May God remove the fear of you from the breasts of your enemy
And they will cast weakness into your hearts
Someone said
O Messenger of God
What is weakness?
He said
Love of the world and hatred of death

It was authenticated by Al-Albani
He, may God bless him and grant him peace, also said
By God, what is poverty? I fear for you
But I fear that the world will be extended to you as it was extended to those before you
So they competed with her as they competed with her
It will destroy you just as it destroyed them
Agreed
And preferring this world over the afterlife
It is by falling into forbidden things in order to obtain her goods
It may also be caused by failure to perform the obligatory actions of the afterlife
Let the bitter person know that there is a direct proportionality today between the abundance of worldly matters
Frequent falling into doubts and desires
Let him be aware of that
Let him be keen on what is permissible and maintain his religion
