The Everlasting Good Deeds: The Reward of Prayer in the Two Holy Mosques of Mecca and Medina. On the authority of Jabir ibn 'Abdillah (may Allah be pleased with him and his father), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A prayer in this mosque of mine is better than a thousand prayers offered elsewhere, except for the Sacred Mosque (al-Masjid al-Haram); and a prayer in the Sacred Mosque is better than a hundred thousand prayers offered elsewhere." Narrated by Ahmad.
