00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:08.769
The Everlasting Good Deeds:

00:00:08.769 --> 00:00:13.970
The Reward of Prayer in the Two Holy Mosques of Mecca and Medina.

00:00:13.970 --> 00:00:18.289
On the authority of Jabir ibn 'Abdillah (may Allah be pleased with him and his father), who said:

00:00:18.289 --> 00:00:22.050
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

00:00:22.050 --> 00:00:24.769
"A prayer in this mosque of mine

00:00:24.769 --> 00:00:28.289
is better than a thousand prayers offered elsewhere,

00:00:28.370 --> 00:00:30.929
except for the Sacred Mosque (al-Masjid al-Haram);

00:00:30.929 --> 00:00:33.729
and a prayer in the Sacred Mosque

00:00:33.729 --> 00:00:37.969
is better than a hundred thousand prayers offered elsewhere."

00:00:37.969 --> 00:00:40.289
Narrated by Ahmad.
