Patience and complaining to Allah.
Complaining to Allah does not contradict patience.
Rather, what contradicts it is complaining to created beings.
For the Prophet of Allah, Ya'qub (peace be upon him), despite his beautiful patience,
said:
"Alas for Yusuf!"
And when he was reproached for that and it was said to him,
“They said: By Allah, thou wilt never cease remembering Joseph till thy health is ruined or thou art of those who perish!” (12:85)
he replied:
“He said: I expose my distress and anguish only unto Allah, and I know from Allah that which ye know not.” (12:86)
"And I know from Allah that which you do not know."
