The story of our mother Eve
Honoring our mother Eve
The first story in Surat Al-Baqarah
It is the story of our father Adam and his wife
It is an important aspect of this story
Satan's hostility to the family
And the ways through which he enters to corrupt it
And ways to resist this enemy
With an explanation of the approach to survival and happiness for the family
God Almighty said
And when we said to the angels:
Prostrate to Adam
So they prostrated
Except Satan, he refused
And he was arrogant
He was one of the unbelievers
And we said, “O Adam.”
Adam, you live
And your husband is heaven
And he ate from it freely wherever he could
Whatever you want, don't come close
This tree
So it is
Of the oppressors
The command to prostrate to Adam came before
His creation, God Almighty said
Your Lord said to the angels
I am a creator
Humans made of clay
From elderly people
So if you settle it
And I breathed into him of My Spirit, and they fell for him
Prostrating
This is God’s honor to Adam
Ibn Kathir, may God have mercy on him, said
This tree is great from God Almighty to Adam
He was grateful to his descendants for it
Where he told that God Almighty commanded the angels
By prostrating to Adam
This honor includes males and females
Anyway
As God Almighty said
We have honored the children of Adam
We carried them on land and sea
It was created for him to enjoy it
It includes honors
Adam's descendants emerged from the womb of our mother, Eve
Honoring does not mean preference
That is why God Almighty said:
In the entire verse
We provided them with good things and favored them
On many of those we created
In preference
With knowledge and reason
And sending the Messenger and sending down the books
And giving preference to the virtues bestowed upon them
And their virtue is one of the virtues
Which is not for other types of creatures
The difference between preference and honor
In general and in particular
Honoring is viewed as honoring Him in and of itself
Preference is taken into consideration
To honor him above others
However, he favored him with reason
By which his affairs can be reconciled and the damages paid for him
And all kinds of knowledge and sciences
This is the desired preference
Al-Ragheb Al-Isfahani said
It is better if it is used to increase one of the two things
On the other, multiply by three
Preferred in terms of gender
The animal species is preferred over the plant species
Better in terms of type
Like the superiority of man over other animals
And this is how he said it
We have honored the children of Adam
To say it preferably
And virtue in terms of self
Like the preference of one man over another
The first two are essential
And to benefit from the credit
Like a horse and a donkey
They cannot acquire virtue
Which belongs to man
The third credit may be incidental
There is a way to acquire it
This type of preference is mentioned
In his saying, “By God, He has favored some of you.”
On each other's livelihood
It means money and what is earned
And he said: Men are the maintainers
Over women because God has favored some of them
To some it means
With the virtue that bestowed upon the man
His subjectivity and the credit he has
Give him status, money and prestige
And strength in men and women
In honor of everyone else
The type of man is preferable to the type of woman
By God's preference for him
There is no way for a woman to remove this virtue
The first defect occurs in the family
Because of Satan
It is a man's insult to a woman
He refused this honor
Either in belief or in action
As is the custom of some societies
Works that detract from women's rights
What should a woman do in this situation?
