Surah Al-Zukhruf
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
And when Ibn Maryam gave an example, behold, your people turn away from him
When God likened Jesus in his creation and creation to Adam
His example is that he created him from dust
So, O Muhammad, your people are getting uproarious over this
They say that Muhammad only wants us to take him as a god to worship
The Christians also worshiped Christ
They said: Are our gods better or are they?
They only hit you in an argument
Rather, they are adversarial people
He is nothing but a servant upon whom We have bestowed blessings and made him an example to the Children of Israel
The polytheist of your people said
O Muhammad, our gods that we worship are better
Mother of Muhammad, so we worship Muhammad
What is this proverb to you, Muhammad?
They did not tell you this
Except for arguments and disputes that they wage against you
What is wrong with your people, O Muhammad, these polytheists, who argue with you about seeking the truth?
Rather, they are people who seek dispute falsely
Jesus is only one of our servants
We blessed him with success and faith
We made it a sign for the children of Israel and a proof for us against them
Had We willed, We could have made angels among you on earth as successors
If we wanted, people of Adam, we could have destroyed you
And We have placed angels in your place on earth who will succeed you therein and worship Me
Indeed, it is knowledge of the Hour, so do not dispute it, but follow it
This is a straight path
And do not be deterred by Satan
He is your clear enemy
And if its appearance is unlikely, there is knowledge by which the coming of the Hour will be known
Because its descent is evidence of the annihilation of the world
And it was said
Indeed, this Qur’an is a knowledge for the Hour
He informs you of its occurrence and tells you about its horrors
Do not doubt it and obey
So your followers of me, O people, in my matter are in the way of disobedience
And Satan will not stop you from obeying me
Satan is an open enemy to you, and he has made his enmity clear to you
And when Jesus came with clear proofs, he said:
I have come to you with wisdom
He said, “I have come to you with wisdom.”
And I will show you some of what you differ about
So fear God and obey
And when Jesus brought to the children of Israel clear evidence
He said: I have come to you with prophecy
And I will show you the people of Israel
Some of the provisions of the Torah about which you differ
So fear your Lord, O people, by obeying Him
And obey me in what I command you to do
God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him
This is a straight path
It is God who requires us to single him out as divinity
My Lord and your Lord all
So worship Him alone
This is what I commanded you to do out of fear of God and obedience to me
It is the straight path that does not accept anything else
The parties differed among them
So woe to those who wronged from the torment of a painful day
There was disagreement about the separation regarding Isa bin Maryam
They are the Jews and Christians
Who among the Christians disagreed about Jesus?
Because they were all parties
The liquid valley of pus and pus in Hell is for those who disbelieve in God
In the agony of a painful day
Do they only wait for the Hour to come upon them suddenly while they do not perceive?
Do these different parties consider Jesus bin Maryam?
Except for the hour when the Resurrection suddenly occurs
They do not know it is coming
On that day, morals will be enemies to one another except the righteous
O servants, there is no fear for you today, nor will you grieve
Those who pretend on the Day of Resurrection to commit sins against God in this world
They are enemies to each other
They disavow each other
Except for those who conceited therein to fear God
God tells them
O My servants, you have no fear today of My punishment
For I have trusted you with My pleasure
Nor do you grieve over the loss of this world
What you offered is better for you
Those who believed in Our signs and were Muslims
Enter Paradise, you and your wives, and you will be blessed
O My servants who believed in the Book of God and His Messengers
They were people who submitted to God in their hearts
Enter Paradise, you believers and your wives
Blessed and rejoicing in the honor of God
They are paraded with golden plates and cups
It contains what the soul desires and what pleases the eyes
And you will abide therein forever
Those who believe in His signs will be circumambulated
With food on a golden plate
And by drinking in golden cups
In Paradise, you will have whatever your souls desire, O believers
And your eyes will delight while you abide therein
And that is Paradise which you were given as an inheritance because of what you did
You will have plenty of fruit therein, of which you will eat
This is the Paradise that God has given you from the people of Hell
Because of the good deeds you did in this world
You will find therein abundant fruit of every kind
You may eat from it whatever you desire
Criminals will remain in the torment of Hell forever
It will not let up on them while they are lost in it
We did not wrong them, but they were the wrongdoers
The criminals who committed disbelief in God
They will remain in the torment of Hell
The torment will not be alleviated for them
They are in the torment of Hell with a hope of salvation
These criminals did not wrong us
But they were the wrongdoers because of their disbelief in God and their denial of His monotheism
And they called out, “O Malik, may your Lord destroy us.”
He said you are staying
He called out these criminals after God brought them into Hell
They said: O Malik, may your Lord curse us
He mentioned that Malik did not answer them at the time they told him that
And he leaves them for a thousand years
Then he answers them and tells them that you will stay
We have brought you the truth
But most of you hate the truth
We have sent to you our Messenger Muhammad with the truth
But most of you hate the truth that Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, brought
Or have they concluded a matter, then we have concluded it
Or do they think that we do not hear their secrets and secrets?
Yes, and Our messengers write to them
Or did these polytheists from Quraish conclude a matter and act?
They are plotting the truth with which We have brought them
We will judge for them what will disgrace them
Or do these polytheists think that we do not hear what they have hidden from the people of their logic?
They consulted among themselves and talked about it to the exclusion of others
We do not punish them for hiding it from us
Rather, we know what they talked about
And we kept them writing down the logic they uttered
Say, O Muhammad, if the Most Merciful has a son, then I will be the first of My worshippers
But he has no son
I worship him because he has no children
And he shouldn't have
Glory be to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe
Glory be to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe
In honor of the Owner of the heavens and the earth
And the owner of the throne surrounding all of that
What the polytheists describe as lying
They add to it the boy and other things
Which should not be added to it
So leave them to wander and play until they meet the day they are promised
So, O Muhammad, leave these slanderers against God to indulge in their falsehood and play in their worldly affairs
Until they meet their day which they are promised
It is the Day of Resurrection
He is the one who is God in heaven and God on earth
He is the Wise, the All-Knowing
And God, who has divinity, is worshiped in heaven and worshiped on earth
So they singled out worship for the one whose quality is this
He is the Wise in managing His creation, the One who knows their interests
Blessed is He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and with Him is the knowledge of the Hour
With Him is knowledge of the Hour, and to Him you will be returned
Blessed be He who has authority over the seven heavens and the earth and all things between them
And with Him is knowledge of the hour in which the Resurrection will take place
And to Him, O people, you will be returned after your death
He rewards the doer of good with his good deeds and the wrongdoer with his evil
Those whom they call upon other than Him have no right to intercession except those who testify to the truth
Except those who bear witness to the truth and they know
Those whom the polytheists worship instead of God do not have the right to intercede with Him for anyone
Except for those who bear witness to the truth by affirming the monotheism of God
And those who bear witness to the truth
Knowing and certain of this that they have the right to intercede with His permission
And if you ask them who created them, they will say, “God,” then they will deceive me
And if you ask, O Muhammad, who created these polytheists?
To say that God created us, then they are distracted from worshiping the One who created them
And he said, “O Lord, these are people who do not believe.”
Muhammad said, “O Lord, these people whom you commanded me to warn are people who do not believe.”
So forgive them and say peace, for they will know
So forgive them, O Muhammad, and say to them, “Peace be upon you.”
They will know what calamity, punishment, and torment they will face for their disbelief
