Chapter on the virtue of supplication
God Almighty said
And your Lord said, “Call upon Me, I will respond to you.”
And the Almighty said
I pray to your Lord humbly and secretly
He does not like aggressors
And the Almighty said
And if My servants ask you about Me, then I am near and answer the call of the supplicant when he calls upon me
Verse
And the Almighty said
Who responds to the needy when he calls upon him and removes the evil?
Verse
On the authority of Al-Numan bin Bashir, may God be pleased with them both
On the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said
Supplication is worship
Narrated by Abu Dawud and Al-Tirmidhi
One of the benefits of talking
Supplication is the heart of worship
Therefore, he must be sincere and correct
The servant must show his inability and need to his Lord
He admits that his master is able to answer him

Or postpone that until the Day of Resurrection
Or divert something bad from him
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, considered it desirable to perform prayers in congregation

Mosques of supplication
That is, the supplication that includes tasks and demands
It has little structure and a lot of meaning

It is desirable to pray using simple words that encompass the meanings of goodness
God allocated His Messenger with comprehensive speech
He collected the various wisdom and sciences in simple words
The best words are those that are little and kind
Therefore, it is desirable to be brief in order to reach what is required in the easiest way and with the easiest wording
On the authority of Anas, may God be pleased with him, he said:
It was the most frequent supplication of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
Oh God, give us good in this world and good in the hereafter
Save us from the torment of the Fire
And agreed upon
Muslim added in his narration:
Whenever Anas wanted to make a supplication, he would supplicate with it
If he wanted to say a supplication, he would say it in it

Due to his lack of words and his awareness of the good things of this world and the hereafter

It brings together the meanings of all supplications
It includes the bliss of this world and the hereafter
And prevention of suffering
Good deeds in this world include every worldly requirement
From wellness and a spacious home
A good wife and a righteous child
And abundant livelihood, useful knowledge and good deeds
A happy compound, beautiful praise, etc
The highest good deed in the afterlife is entering Paradise
And its subsidiary security is the greatest fear in the streets
Facilitating accounting and other afterlife matters
Protection from the torment of hellfire
It requires facilitating its causes in this world
Avoiding forbidden things and abandoning doubts
The Companions, may God be pleased with them, were keen to preserve and apply the Sunnah
In response to God and the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace
On the authority of Ibn Masoud, may God be pleased with him
That the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to say
Oh God, I ask you for guidance, piety, chastity, and wealth

On the authority of Tariq Ibn Ashima, may God be pleased with him, he said
If the man converted to Islam

Oh God, forgive me and have mercy on me

And grant me health and sustenance

On the authority of Abdullah bin Omar bin Al-Asir, may God be pleased with them both, he said

Oh God, distract hearts
Devote our hearts to your obedience

The hearts of the children of Adam are between two of the Most Merciful’s fingers

The servant should ask God for help
God must be guided, upright, and not deceitful
If the servant entrusts himself to himself, it will destroy him
Success is that God does not leave you to yourself for the blink of an eye
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him

Seek refuge in God from the stress of calamity
And he realized the misery
And the gloating of enemies

In a narration, Sufyan said:
I doubt I added one of them
Effort i.e. hardship
Gendarmerie, meaning awareness and annexation
Misery means distress and squeezing
Gloating, i.e. joy over the enemy's sadness

It is desirable to seek refuge from the things mentioned in the hadith
Speechless speech is not disliked
If it was issued unintentionally, there is no charge
The benefit of seeking refuge and supplication
The servant shows his need for his Lord and his supplication to Him
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to say
Oh God, correct for me the religion that is the protection of my affairs
And fix for me my world which contains my livelihood
And fix for me the afterlife in which there is hostility
And make life increase for me in all good things
And make death a relief for me from all evil
Narrated by Muslim
The infallibility of my affairs means what I adhere to in my affairs
Which includes my livelihood, i.e. where I live and the time of my life
In which is Maadi, that is, the place of my return and my return to you

Islam protects the servant from making mistakes and mistakes

A Muslim works for his worldly life as if he were to live forever
He works for his afterlife as if he would die tomorrow
The longevity of a Muslim servant is a reason for increasing his good deeds and righteousness
The believing servant must be between good worship and mastery of work
The right to trust and hope is to seek help from God Almighty
The believing servant is relieved by meeting his Lord from temptations and evils
Which attacks those who have not established their faith and proven their certainty
On the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, told me
Say, O God, guide me and guide me
And in the narration: Oh God, I ask you for guidance and payment

Payment means integrity and intention in the matter and what is desired
Grant me success and make me right in all my affairs

Oh God, I seek refuge in You from inability and laziness
And cowardice, poverty, and miserliness
I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave
I seek refuge in You from the trials of life and death
And in the narration of Wadali’ al-Din and the predominance of men

Cowardice means fear and weakness
The rib of debt, meaning the weight and severity of the debt
The dominance of men, i.e. the intensity of their dominance over him

This supplication is one of the sums of speech
Because there are three types of vices
Psychological, physical and external
The entire hadith focuses on recovering all of them
Inability and laziness are two companions
If the servant’s interest, perfection, pleasure, and pleasure are left behind
Either it comes from inability
It is incapacity
Or be able to do so
But he was left behind due to his unwillingness
It is laziness
Its owner is blamed for it more than he is blamed for incapacity
Inability may be the result of laziness
The bitter person is often lazy about the thing he is capable of
His will weakens
This leads to his inability to do so
The benevolence expected from the servant
Either with his money or his body
The first one is stingy
Whoever prevents the second is a coward
Therefore, the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, recovered
Of cowardice and stinginess
Proof of the torment of the grave
It is necessary to seek refuge from his temptation
The oppression that befalls the slave is of two types
One of them
Truly oppressed
It is the rib of religion
And the second
Unjust oppression
It is the predominance of men
Therefore, the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, recovered
My kind of oppression
Religion does not enter the heart
Unless I go out of mind
What he does not return to
And if people's kings become their most humiliated people
They made their dearest humiliated
And so do they
On the authority of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with him
He said to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
Teach me a supplication to pray with in my prayers
He said
Say
Oh God, I have wronged myself greatly
No one can forgive sins except you
So forgive me, and have mercy on me
You are the Forgiving, the Merciful
Agreed
