I kept it secret and did not tell anyone about it
And the hadiths about the temptations occurring in the nation were recorded from him until the Day of Judgment
I and my father missed the Battle of Badr
What prevented us from witnessing it?
However, we went out on a trip
So we captured the infidels of Quraysh
They said you want Muhammad
We said: We only want the city
So they made a covenant with us that we would go to the city
We do not fight with him
When we reached the city
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, told us that
So he ordered us to sit down
He said, “We reject their covenant, and we seek God’s help against them.”
Then we participated in the Battle of Uhud
We fought with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, his unbelieving enemies
After the setback that happened to Muslims
People were confused
They struck my father with their swords, thinking that he was with the polytheists
I shout at them
My father, my father, he is my father
But God's will was quicker
My father was struck by Muslim swords
So I told them
May God forgive you
He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy
When the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, learned of this
My father gave me blood money
He didn't take it
And make it a charity for Muslims
This increased my status and goodness with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the Muslims
One day, Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, asked me
And he urged me
Did the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, count me among the hypocrites?
So I said no
I will not recommend anyone after you
Then he asked me if my workers were any of the hypocrites
I said yes one
He said who he is
I said I don't mention it to you
Then Omar dismissed him
As if he indicated it
Omar, may God be pleased with him, was
If a man dies, he asks about me
If you attend prayer
May peace be upon him
Even if I did not attend the prayer for him
Omar did not attend

When Al-Numan bin Muqrin, may God be pleased with him, killed the commander of that army
I took the flag

I was horrified when I saw the differences between Muslims in reading the Qur’an
So I visited Caliph Othman bin Affan, may God be pleased with him, in Medina
And I told him
He realized the nation before they disagreed about the Qur’an
So Othman, may God be pleased with him, ordered the collection of the Qur’an
