I am one of the companions of Quraysh
And a master of their masters
My father is the Pharaoh of this nation
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, also called him that
I was very hostile to Islam and Muslims
I saw my father killed in the Battle of Badr before my eyes
My hostility towards Muslims increased
So I went out on a Sunday to avenge my father
I witnessed with the Quraish all the scenes against the Muslims
In the conquest of Mecca, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, shed my blood
Because of the evil of my deeds
So I ran away, wandering
Afraid of Muslims
So I rode the sea
So we responded
The ship owner said
Be sincere, for your gods are of no use to you here
So I thought and said
This, by God, is what Muhammad calls for
So my senses came back to me and I said
By God, God saved us from this
To return to Muhammad
And I will put my hand in his
Then the wind calmed down
So I got off the ship
And I went to the city
On my way, I met my wife
Who took the trust for me from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
She came to give me good news
And she said
I came to you from the best of people
And I treat people
And the best of people
Do not destroy yourself
And come with me to him
So I went back with her
When I entered upon the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
He rose to me happily
There is no robe on his shoulders
He told me
Welcome immigrant passenger
So I converted to Islam
I asked the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
To ask forgiveness from me for every situation I witnessed against him
So ask forgiveness for me
Then I said
O Messenger of God
I don't let you just spend it turning away from Islam
Unless she spent her double for the sake of God
Nor was I fighting to prevent people from the path of God
Unless you have made him weak in his path
And in the battle of Yarmouk
The distress for Muslims intensified in one situation
So I got off my horse
And I broke the sheath of my sword
It penetrated the ranks of the Romans
So Khaled bin Al-Walid, may God be pleased with him, came to me and said
Don't do it, cousin
Killing you will be severe for Muslims
So I told him
Step away from me, Khaled
I personally struggled against the Messenger of God
Should I answer now?
So I fought until I was wounded and fell
He fell next to Al-Harith bin Hisham
And Ayyash bin Abi Rabia, may God be pleased with them
So Al-Harith gave him water to drink
When they brought him water
He looked at me and showered me with water
He said, "Put it to him."
So they brought me water
Hand him over to Ayyash bin Abi Rabia next to me and he took a breath
So I said
Give it to Ayyash
When they reached him
So he died
When they returned to me
So I too died
So they returned to Al-Harith
They found that he had also died
None of us tasted the water
They found seventy-some wounds on my body
Between a sword strike
Or stab with a spear
Or an arrow shot
