00:05:17.300 --> 00:05:23.300 If God's wrath befalls them for their past sins 00:05:23.300 --> 00:05:27.300 Then they came to you swearing falsely and falsely by God 00:05:27.300 --> 00:05:32.300 By resorting to it, we only wanted to be kind to one another 00:05:32.300 --> 00:05:36.300 And what is correct is what we decided upon 00:05:36.300 --> 00:05:55.329 Those are the ones whom God knows what is in their hearts, so turn away from them and admonish them and speak to them within their souls with eloquent patience 00:05:55.329 --> 00:05:59.899 These are the hypocrites I described to you, O Muhammad 00:05:59.899 --> 00:06:03.899 God knows the hypocrisy and deviance in their hearts 00:06:03.899 --> 00:06:08.899 So leave them, and do not punish them in their bodies 00:06:08.899 --> 00:06:13.899 But exhort them by frightening them, may God’s punishment befall them 00:06:13.899 --> 00:06:20.899 He commanded them to fear God and believe in Him and His Messenger and His promise and threat 00:06:20.899 --> 00:06:29.639 We did not send a messenger except to be obeyed, God willing 00:06:29.639 --> 00:06:41.639 Even if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you and asked God for forgiveness 00:06:41.639 --> 00:06:48.639 And the Messenger asked forgiveness for them, and they would have found God Forgiving and Merciful 00:06:48.639 --> 00:06:56.379 O Muhammad, we did not send a messenger except that obedience was imposed on whomever you sent him to 00:06:56.379 --> 00:07:03.500 Even if these hypocrites wronged themselves by acquiring great sin 00:07:03.500 --> 00:07:07.500 They came to you, O Muhammad, repentant and repentant 00:07:07.500 --> 00:07:11.500 They asked God to forgive them for the punishment of their sin 00:07:11.500 --> 00:07:15.500 His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, asked them the same 00:07:15.500 --> 00:07:19.500 They would find God returning them to what they love 00:07:19.500 --> 00:07:25.500 He was merciful to them in abandoning their punishment for the sin they repented of 00:07:25.500 --> 00:07:32.819 No, by your Lord, they will not believe until they make you judge in what is disputed between them 00:07:32.819 --> 00:07:45.819 Then they will not find themselves embarrassed by what you have decided, and they will submit with complete submission 00:07:45.819 --> 00:07:51.430 It is not as they claim that they believe in what was revealed to you 00:07:51.430 --> 00:07:54.430 They are seeking judgment from the Ta'ut 00:07:54.430 --> 00:08:00.430 By your Lord, O Muhammad, they do not believe in me, in you, or in what was revealed to you 00:08:00.430 --> 00:08:06.430 Until they make you an arbitrator between them regarding their affairs 00:08:06.430 --> 00:08:10.430 Then they will not find themselves distressed by what you have decreed 00:08:10.430 --> 00:08:15.430 And they submit to your judgment and judgment, as they suffered from them in obedience 00:08:15.430 --> 00:08:18.430 And in recognition of your prophethood 00:08:19.430 --> 00:08:25.620 Even if We had decreed against them that they should kill yourselves 00:08:25.620 --> 00:08:35.620 Or get expelled from your homes, which they did, except a few of them 00:08:35.620 --> 00:08:44.620 If they had done what they preach, it would have been better for them and more steadfast 00:08:46.139 --> 00:08:52.139 Even if we imposed it on those who claim to believe in what was revealed to you 00:08:52.139 --> 00:08:54.139 To kill themselves 00:08:54.139 --> 00:08:59.139 Or they leave their homes and migrate to another home 00:08:59.139 --> 00:09:02.139 They did not kill themselves with their own hands 00:09:02.139 --> 00:09:06.139 Nor did they emigrate from their homes in obedience to God and His Messenger 00:09:06.139 --> 00:09:09.139 Except a few of them 00:09:09.139 --> 00:09:15.139 Even if these hypocrites did what they are reminded of in terms of obedience to God 00:09:15.139 --> 00:09:22.580 It would have been better for them in this world and in their future, and would have strengthened their faith 00:09:22.580 --> 00:09:29.580 Then We would have given them a great reward from Us 00:09:29.580 --> 00:09:35.580 And We will guide them to a straight path 00:09:35.580 --> 00:09:41.100 If they had done what they preach, it would have been better for them 00:09:41.100 --> 00:09:45.100 Then We would have given them a great reward from Us 00:09:45.100 --> 00:09:51.100 If We had given them a path that would be difficult for them to follow, it is the upright religion of God 00:09:52.159 --> 00:10:07.159 And whoever obeys God and the Messenger, those are with those upon whom God has bestowed blessings 00:10:07.159 --> 00:10:19.159 Of the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs and the righteous 00:10:19.159 --> 00:10:32.159 And those were good companions. That bounty is from God, and God is sufficient as Knower 00:10:32.159 --> 00:10:36.860 Whoever obeys God and the Messenger by submitting to their command 00:10:36.860 --> 00:10:43.860 He is with those whom God has blessed with His guidance, among His prophets and the truthful ones 00:10:43.860 --> 00:10:52.860 He is everyone whose words are confirmed by his actions, and the martyrs who were killed for the sake of God and the righteous 00:10:52.860 --> 00:10:56.860 He is everyone who has reformed his private and public affairs 00:10:56.860 --> 00:11:04.860 These are good companions in Paradise. This is God’s gift to them and His grace upon them 00:11:04.860 --> 00:11:12.860 And God is sufficient for the servants, who created them, knowing the obedience of the obedient among them and the disobedience of the disobedient 00:11:12.860 --> 00:11:16.860 None of this is hidden from him 00:11:16.860 --> 00:11:27.120 O you who have believed, take heed and flee firmly, or flee all together 00:11:27.120 --> 00:11:30.700 O you who have believed God and His Messenger 00:11:30.700 --> 00:11:33.700 Take your paradise and your weapons 00:11:33.700 --> 00:11:39.700 So go out to your enemy, one group after another, armed 00:11:39.700 --> 00:11:45.700 Or all of you go out with your Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, to fight them 00:11:45.700 --> 00:12:01.980 And there are those among you who delay, and if a calamity befalls you, he says, “God has bestowed favor upon me.” 00:12:01.980 --> 00:12:05.980 Because I was not a martyr with them 00:12:05.980 --> 00:12:09.850 And among you, O believers 00:12:09.850 --> 00:12:13.850 Who imitates you and appears to be of your religion 00:12:13.850 --> 00:12:19.850 He is a hypocrite who slows down those of you who obey him from jihad against your enemy 00:12:19.850 --> 00:12:26.850 If defeat befalls you, he will say, “God has bestowed upon me since I was not a martyr with them.” 00:12:26.850 --> 00:12:30.850 I will suffer wounds, pain, or death 00:12:30.850 --> 00:12:35.850 He is neither hoping for reward nor afraid of punishment 00:12:35.850 --> 00:12:49.139 And if a bounty from God befalls you, they will say as if there was no affection between you and Him 00:12:49.139 --> 00:12:55.139 I wish I had been with them and had won a great victory 00:12:55.139 --> 00:13:01.870 And if God gives you victory over your enemy and you gain spoils from them 00:13:01.870 --> 00:13:07.870 They will say, “This hypocritical one is slow, as if there was no affection between you and him.” 00:13:07.870 --> 00:13:14.870 I wish I had been with them so that I could have won the spoils that were gained with them in a great victory 00:13:14.870 --> 00:13:16.870 Envy of them 00:13:16.870 --> 00:13:19.870 Their witnesses are wars seeking spoils 00:13:19.870 --> 00:13:25.870 They do not hope for reward, nor do they fear punishment for falling behind
