Being afflicted with evil and good
Just as affliction is caused by evil, it is also caused by goodness
God Almighty said
We will test you with evil and good as a test, and to Us you will be returned.
He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
How amazing is the matter of the believer
His whole matter is good
This does not apply to anyone except the believer
If good befalls him, he is grateful
It was better for him
If adversity befalls him, he remains patient
It was better for him
Narrated by Muslim
Testing is a test for a person
To see how he reacts to him
What is required is as stated in the hadith
Patience when afflicted with adversity
And gratitude when afflicted with good times
And thanks as it says in the article
It will also be okay
To use grace in obedience to God
He maintains it thus
And he does not deny it
The affliction varies with adversity
Between illness and weakness
Poverty and deprivation
Torture and abuse
And so on
It's all a test
It extends the endurance of the afflicted person and his patience in the face of affliction
And his trust in his Lord
And his hope is in his mercy
And with the severity of this type
From affliction
However, many people stand up to him
Because of their clarity
Because it excites them
The essence of the challenge
And resistance
As for being afflicted with good times
Of health and strength
Wealth and enjoyment
Positions of meekness and joy
It causes many people to relax
And they lose their ability
Be vigilant and resist
Temptation
They fail the test
They forget the duty of gratitude
These blessings
Some of the predecessors were truthful when they said
We were afflicted with hardship
So we were patient
We were afflicted with good times
We were not patient
