Not being exposed to calamity
One of the means of steadfastness is not being exposed to calamity and temptation.
He does not wish for it or seek it
Or he searches for her and confronts her
But if she came to him and attacked him
Be patient and count
He used legal medicine with it
In the two Sahihs on the authority of Abdullah bin Abi Awfa, may God be pleased with them, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
There were some days when he found the enemy waiting
Even if the sun goes down
He stood up and said to them
People
Do not hope to meet the enemy
And ask God for wellness
If you meet them, be patient
They knew that Paradise is under the shadow of swords
Then he said
Oh God, the house of the book
And the stream of clouds
And he defeated the parties
Defeat them and give us victory over them
Sheikh al-Islam said in Majmu’ al-Fatawa:
The evidence of the Sunnah has come
That whoever is afflicted without the eyes turning away from him
And whoever is exposed to affliction
Fear for him
Like his saying, may God bless him and grant him peace

He said in the plague
If you hear about it on land
Do not go ahead of him
And if it falls on land
And you are in it
Do not go out to escape from it
And from him, may God bless him and grant him peace
He forbade making vows
And from him is a saying
Leave me alone as long as I leave you
Those who came before you perished
They ask a lot of questions
And their disagreement over their ambiguities
If I forbid you anything
So avoid it
And if I command you to do something
So come from him as much as you can
