Among the beauties of the Prophetic biography (Seerah) Service-oriented humility The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would descend from his lofty status, his distinguished position, and his majestic gathering To teach profound humility and spread the expansive virtue of modesty Or what may be aptly described as service-oriented humility Wherein one humbles oneself while offering service, bestowing a favor, and adding a virtuous deed Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, said A young girl from among the bondswomen of the people of Madinah Would take the hand of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him And lead him wherever she wished Narrated by al-Bukhari A man of his status, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him How could he empty his time for a woman who was a stranger from the outskirts And leave his own affairs Were it not that his religion is exactly this Humility and mercy For Allah is in the aid of the servant As long as the servant is in the aid of his brother And what could the needs of the bondswomen have been in that time Perhaps simple matters Yet he responded, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him And hastened to go with her out of humility and service So where are those who are closed off within themselves They have neither served Islam Nor spread noble character Be humble, like a star that appears to the observer Upon the surface of the water, yet it remains high above And do not be like smoke, which raises itself To the layers of the atmosphere, yet it remains base And Allah is the One whose help is sought Among the beauties of the Prophetic biography (Seerah)
