He bringeth them out of darkness unto light by His decree, and guideth them unto a straight path.” (5:16) 00:01:24.590 --> 00:01:28.590 The author of *Fi Zilal al-Qur'an*, may Allah have mercy upon him, says: 00:01:28.590 --> 00:01:31.590 How precise and truthful this expression is! 00:01:31.590 --> 00:01:33.590 It is peace. 00:01:33.590 --> 00:01:37.590 It is what this religion pours into all of life. 00:01:37.590 --> 00:01:42.590 The peace of the individual, the peace of the community, and the peace of the world. 00:01:42.590 --> 00:01:47.590 The peace of the conscience, the peace of the mind, and the peace of the limbs. 00:01:47.590 --> 00:01:54.590 The peace of the home, the family, the society, the Ummah, and the peace of mankind and humanity. 00:01:54.590 --> 00:01:56.590 Peace with life. 00:01:56.590 --> 00:01:58.590 Peace with the universe. 00:01:58.590 --> 00:02:02.590 And peace with Allah, the Lord of the universe and life. 00:02:02.590 --> 00:02:08.590 The peace that humanity does not find, and has never found, except in this religion, 00:02:08.590 --> 00:02:11.590 And in its methodology and its Shari'ah. 00:02:11.590 --> 00:02:14.620 No one realizes the depth of this truth 00:02:14.620 --> 00:02:20.620 As does one who has tasted the paths of war in the ancient and modern days of ignorance (Jahiliyyah). 00:02:20.620 --> 00:02:25.620 And one who has tasted the war of anxiety arising from the creeds of Jahiliyyah, 00:02:25.620 --> 00:02:30.620 And the war of anxiety arising from the laws and systems of Jahiliyyah, 00:02:30.620 --> 00:02:33.879 And their floundering in the affairs of life. 00:02:33.879 --> 00:02:38.879 This confirms for us that divine Sunnah and legal truth 00:02:38.879 --> 00:02:42.879 Which dictates that there is no security and no peace, 00:02:42.879 --> 00:02:46.879 And no happiness in this world, except in the shadow of Islam, 00:02:46.879 --> 00:02:49.879 Which is based on the oneness of Allah, Mighty and Majestic is He, 00:02:49.879 --> 00:02:54.879 Worshipping Him alone with no partner, and implementing His law. 00:02:54.879 --> 00:02:56.879 For if this is not the case, 00:02:56.879 --> 00:03:02.879 Then humanity will never taste the flavor of security, nor the flavor of peace, prosperity, and tranquility. 00:03:02.879 --> 00:03:06.879 So praise be to Allah who has guided us to Islam, 00:03:06.879 --> 00:03:10.879 And we would not have been guided had Allah not guided us. 00:03:10.879 --> 00:03:15.009 Among the duties of thanking Allah, Mighty and Majestic is He, for the blessing of Islam 00:03:15.009 --> 00:03:17.009 Is that we preserve it, 00:03:17.009 --> 00:03:20.009 And that we avoid the causes of its loss. 00:03:20.009 --> 00:03:22.009 Just as it is among the duties of thanking Him for it 00:03:22.009 --> 00:03:29.009 To strive to convey this blessing to those of humanity who have been deprived of it, as much as possible, 00:03:29.009 --> 00:03:31.009 Through the jihad of proclamation and clarification, 00:03:31.009 --> 00:03:34.009 Or through the jihad of the sword and the spear, 00:03:34.009 --> 00:03:37.009 Which removes from its path the tyrants 00:03:37.009 --> 00:03:40.009 Who prevent those behind them from the truth. 00:03:40.009 --> 00:03:45.139 At that point, the ultimate goal of jihad in the way of Allah the Exalted becomes clear to us: 00:03:45.139 --> 00:03:49.139 That it came only as a mercy to the worlds, 00:03:49.139 --> 00:03:53.139 And to bring them out from darkness into light, 00:03:53.139 --> 00:03:56.139 And that it came for the security and welfare of humanity, 00:03:56.139 --> 00:04:02.139 Just as Rib'i Ibn 'Amir, may Allah be pleased with him, stated in the previous account. 00:04:02.139 --> 00:04:06.710 A summary of the concepts held by the Ahl al-Sunnah.
