00:10:14.139 --> 00:10:16.700 As for the one with harsh speech 00:10:16.700 --> 00:10:18.500 and a hard heart, 00:10:18.500 --> 00:10:21.220 the Sunnah of Allah, the Exalted, has already passed 00:10:21.220 --> 00:10:23.019 that people will flee from him. 00:10:23.019 --> 00:10:26.059 No guidance or invitation will be accepted from him, 00:10:26.059 --> 00:10:28.299 no advice will be heard from him, 00:10:28.299 --> 00:10:30.500 no companion will find comfort in him, 00:10:30.500 --> 00:10:32.740 and no one will find solace in his presence. 00:10:32.740 --> 00:10:34.899 “It was by the mercy of Allah that thou wast lenient with them (O Muhammad), for if thou hadst been stern and fierce of heart they would have dispersed from round about thee. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult with them upon the conduct of affairs. And when thou art resolved, then put thy trust in Allah. Lo! 00:14:00.070 --> 00:14:02.070 Especially your parents, 00:14:02.070 --> 00:14:04.070 your wife, 00:14:04.070 --> 00:14:06.070 your children, 00:14:06.070 --> 00:14:08.070 your brothers and sisters, 00:14:08.070 --> 00:14:10.070 and the rest of your relatives. 00:14:10.070 --> 00:14:12.070 So mend hearts, 00:14:12.070 --> 00:14:14.070 and share in the feelings of your brothers, 00:14:14.070 --> 00:14:16.070 and remember that it is a glorious act of worship 00:14:16.070 --> 00:14:18.070 for which the Compeller (al-Jabbar) rewards 00:14:18.070 --> 00:14:20.070 with great recompense. 00:14:20.070 --> 00:14:22.070 In this time, 00:14:22.070 --> 00:14:24.070 the need is intense 00:14:24.070 --> 00:14:26.070 to console people, 00:14:26.070 --> 00:14:28.070 to lighten their burdens, 00:14:28.070 --> 00:14:30.070 and to soothe their hearts, 00:14:30.070 --> 00:14:32.070 because those with broken hearts 00:14:32.070 --> 00:14:34.070 are many. 00:14:34.070 --> 00:14:36.070 In our societies, 00:14:36.070 --> 00:14:38.070 you see a woman who is left in limbo, 00:14:38.070 --> 00:14:40.070 neither a wife, 00:14:40.070 --> 00:14:42.070 nor divorced. 00:14:42.070 --> 00:14:44.070 Here is a widow, 00:14:44.070 --> 00:14:46.070 there is a destitute person, 00:14:46.070 --> 00:14:48.070 here is an orphan, 00:14:48.070 --> 00:14:50.070 and there is another burdened with debt, 00:14:50.070 --> 00:14:52.070 in a state of worry and grief 00:14:52.070 --> 00:14:54.070 known only to Allah. 00:14:54.070 --> 00:14:56.070 This one cannot find a university, 00:14:56.070 --> 00:14:58.070 that one cannot find a job, 00:14:58.070 --> 00:15:00.070 this one cannot find a wife, 00:15:00.070 --> 00:15:02.070 and another is afflicted. 00:15:02.070 --> 00:15:04.070 The worries are many, 00:15:04.070 --> 00:15:06.070 and mending hearts 00:15:06.070 --> 00:15:08.070 does not require much effort, 00:15:08.070 --> 00:15:10.070 nor great energy. 00:15:10.070 --> 00:15:12.070 Perhaps it is enough for some 00:15:12.070 --> 00:15:14.070 to hear a word of dhikr, 00:15:14.070 --> 00:15:16.070 or a supplication, or an exhortation. 00:15:16.070 --> 00:15:18.070 Perhaps another needs 00:15:18.070 --> 00:15:20.070 assistance, 00:15:20.070 --> 00:15:22.070 another lacks influence, 00:15:22.070 --> 00:15:24.070 and some wait for a need to be fulfilled. 00:15:24.070 --> 00:15:26.070 Some are satisfied, 00:15:26.070 --> 00:15:28.070 and others are satisfied 00:15:28.070 --> 00:15:30.070 with a smile. 00:15:30.070 --> 00:15:32.070 So we must strive 00:15:32.070 --> 00:15:34.070 to bring joy and happiness 00:15:34.070 --> 00:15:36.070 into the hearts of our brothers, 00:15:36.070 --> 00:15:38.070 and not be stingy with ourselves, 00:15:38.070 --> 00:15:40.070 for charity and goodness 00:15:40.070 --> 00:15:42.070 return their benefit to you, 00:15:42.070 --> 00:15:44.070 O servant of Allah. 00:15:44.070 --> 00:15:46.070 Yes, their benefit returns to you. 00:15:46.070 --> 00:15:48.070 So hasten, 00:15:48.070 --> 00:15:50.070 before you depart. 00:15:50.070 --> 00:15:52.070 O Allah, O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, 00:15:52.070 --> 00:15:54.070 in this blessed hour, 00:15:54.070 --> 00:15:56.070 relieve every worried person, 00:15:56.070 --> 00:15:58.070 heal every sick person, 00:15:58.070 --> 00:16:00.070 grant well-being to every afflicted person, 00:16:00.070 --> 00:16:02.070 have mercy on the deceased of the Muslims, 00:16:02.070 --> 00:16:04.070 and lift the distress 00:16:04.070 --> 00:16:06.070 from the Ummah. 00:16:06.070 --> 00:16:08.200 And reward, O Sustainer, 00:16:08.200 --> 00:16:10.200 with the best reward, 00:16:10.200 --> 00:16:12.200 the most complete and the most perfect, 00:16:12.200 --> 00:16:14.200 the one who built this mosque, 00:16:14.200 --> 00:16:16.200 maintained it, and cared for it, 00:16:16.200 --> 00:16:18.200 and looked after its affairs. 00:16:18.200 --> 00:16:20.200 O Allah, forgive our sins, 00:16:20.200 --> 00:16:22.200 conceal our faults, 00:16:22.200 --> 00:16:24.200 and accept our repentance. 00:16:24.200 --> 00:16:26.200 Grant us security in our homelands, 00:16:26.200 --> 00:16:28.200 and rectify our leaders 00:16:28.200 --> 00:16:30.200 and those in authority over us. 00:16:30.200 --> 00:16:32.200 O Allah, grant victory to our soldiers on the borders, 00:16:32.200 --> 00:16:34.200 and grant victory to our oppressed brothers 00:16:34.200 --> 00:16:36.200 In every place and upon every land, 00:16:36.200 --> 00:16:38.200 and beneath every sky. 00:16:38.200 --> 00:16:40.200 O Allah, rectify the state of the Muslims. 00:16:40.200 --> 00:16:42.200 O Allah, rectify the state of the Muslims. 00:16:42.200 --> 00:16:44.200 O Allah, rectify the state of the Muslims. 00:16:44.200 --> 00:16:46.200 O Allah, lift from us 00:16:46.200 --> 00:16:48.200 high prices, usury, and epidemics, 00:16:48.200 --> 00:16:50.200 as well as adultery, earthquakes, and trials, 00:16:50.200 --> 00:16:52.200 and the evil of tribulations. 00:16:52.200 --> 00:16:55.200 O Allah, we ask of You Your pleasure and Paradise, 00:16:55.200 --> 00:16:58.200 and we seek refuge in You from Your wrath and from the Fire. 00:16:58.200 --> 00:17:01.200 O Allah, send prayers and peace upon our master Muhammad, 00:17:01.200 --> 00:17:03.200 and upon all his family and his Companions. 00:17:03.200 --> 00:17:06.200 And all praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
