Surah Al-Najm
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
How many angels are there in the heavens whose intercession is of no avail
Except after God permits whomever He wills and is pleased with
And many of the angels who are with me do not benefit from their intercession for those for whom they intercede
Except after my permission for them to intercede for him and with my satisfaction
So what about intercession without them?
Those who do not believe in the afterlife give the angels female names
They have no knowledge of it; they follow only conjecture, and conjecture is of no avail against the truth
Those who do not believe in resurrection are in the afterlife
They give the angels of God female names
They say they are the daughters of God
What fact is there in their naming of the angels the female name?
They follow nothing but conjecture in this matter
Suspicion is of no benefit to the truth, so it takes its place
So turn away from him who turns away from Our remembrance and desires nothing but the life of this world
So leave behind whoever, O Muhammad, turns away from the remembrance of God and does not believe in Him
He did not ask for what God has in the afterlife
But he asked for the adornments of this worldly life
That is their level of knowledge. Indeed, your Lord knows best who has strayed from His path
And He knows best who is guided
This is what those who call angels say are female
They have no knowledge except this disbelief in God
And polytheism is based on suspicion without certain knowledge
Your Lord, O Muhammad, knows best about those who follow His path and do not believe
He knows best whose path is right, so he followed it according to his prior knowledge
To God belongs the dominion of all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth
And He misleads whomever He wills, and He knows them best
To reward those of His creation who disobeyed Him and reward them with Hell
And those who obeyed Him and did good will be rewarded with Paradise
Those who avoid major sins and immoralities, except minor ones
Your Lord is full of forgiveness
He knows best you when He created you from the earth
And when you were fetuses in your mothers’ wombs
Do not purify yourselves
He knows best who is pious
Those who stay away from major sins that God has forbidden
That is polytheism with God
Immoral acts such as adultery and the like are things for which God has imposed a punishment
Except for blame for anything less than a major sin
And without immoral acts that require punishment in this world and punishment in the afterlife
They are forgiven for doing so
Indeed, your Lord, O Muhammad, has ample pardon for sinners
Those whose sins have not reached the level of immorality and major sins
Your Lord knows better about the believer than the unbeliever
When He created you from the earth
And while you were a lamb you were not born
Do not bear witness to yourselves that she is pure and free of sins and transgressions
Your Lord, O Muhammad, knows best who fears God’s punishment
So he avoided the sins of his servants
Have you seen the one who took charge?
He gave a little and confirmed
Whoever has knowledge of the unseen, he sees
Have you seen, O Muhammad, who turned away from believing in God?
He gave his friend a little of his money, then withheld it from him and was stingy with him
He stated that this verse was revealed about Al-Walid bin Al-Mughirah
Because some polytheists blamed him
He had followed the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, in his religion
So the one who blamed him guaranteed him if he gave him any of his money
He returned to his polytheism in order to bear the punishment of the afterlife on his behalf
So he did
So he gave the one who blamed him for that some of what was guaranteed for him
Then he was miserly and denied him all of what was guaranteed to him
How stubborn is this person whose owner guaranteed that he would bear God’s punishment on his behalf in the afterlife?
Knowing the unseen, he sees the truth of what he said and his fulfillment of what he promised
Or was this content not told to him that he would bear the punishment of God on his behalf?
With what is in the pages of Musa bin Imran, peace be upon him
And Abraham, who fulfilled all the laws of Islam and all the obedience he was commanded to do
That no female servant should bear the burden of another
And that man has nothing but what he strives for
And his endeavor will be seen
Then he will be rewarded with the fullest reward
With what is written in the scrolls of Moses and Abraham
That no sinner commit the sin of another sinner
A worker is not rewarded except for his work, whether good or evil
And the work of every worker will be seen on the Day of Resurrection, whether good or evil
Then he will be rewarded for his effort with that fuller reward
Because he fulfilled the reward he promised his creation
And to your Lord is the end
And he makes you laugh and cry
And it is He who caused death and brought Him to life
And to your Lord, O Muhammad, is the end of all His creation and their return
He is the one who rewards all of them for their good and bad deeds
And your Lord is the funniest of the people of Paradise in Paradise when they enter it
And I will make the people of Hell cry in Hell and make whomever of the people of this world laugh as I wish
He made those who wanted to make him cry cry
And He has put to death those of His creation who have died, and He has brought back to life those who are alive among them
This is done by breathing the soul into the dead sperm
And He created the two spouses, the male and the female, from a sperm if they wished
And he has another upbringing
And if He willed, He created the male and female pairs and made them two pairs
He created that from a sperm if the man and woman wished for it
And your Lord, O Muhammad, must create a new creation after their death
And that He is Agna and Aqna, and that He is the Lord of poetry
And your Lord is the richest of His creation who is most subsisting with money, and He has given him possession of the assets of his wealth
And your Lord, O Muhammad, is the Lord of poetry
It is a star that some people of pre-Islamic times worshiped instead of God
And he destroyed the first Ad
And Thamud and what remains
And Noah's people before were more oppressive and oppressive
And the dead woman was in love with her, so he cheated on her as much as he cheated
And he destroyed the first Ad
They are the ones whom God destroyed with a strong roaring wind
God did not spare Thamud and leave it to its tyranny and rebellion
But he punished her for her disbelief and arrogance, so he destroyed her
And Noah's people were destroyed by Ad and Thamud
They were more unjust to themselves and more tyrannical
The eclipsed one is inverted, the top is the bottom
It is the village of Sodom, the people of Lot
So God covered up the pieces of stacked, stained stones that he covered
So which of the favors of your Lord are you wondering about?
This is one of the first vows
O son of Adam, what blessings have your Lord bestowed upon you? Do you doubt, doubt, and dispute?
This is what I warned you, O people, about the incidents that I inflicted upon the nations before you
From the vows that nations gave before you
The fault of the fault has no detector other than God
The closest thing to you, people, is the Resurrection
There is no detector of the Hour other than God
It will not be revealed and established unless God establishes it
He revealed it without anyone else among His creation
Do you wonder at this hadith?
And you laugh and don't cry
And you are steadfast
O people, do you wonder at this Qur’an that was revealed to Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace?
And you laugh at him mockingly
And do not cry because of the threat it contains to those who disobey God
And you do not underestimate the lessons and remembrance in it
So prostrate to God and worship
So, people, prostrate to God in your prayers, rather than to any other gods and equals
And they worshiped Him
