Partial torment is a warning before the torment of eradication
From the wisdom of God Almighty and His mercy toward the extravagant
Inflicting partial torture on them
A warning to them before the torment of eradication or destruction comes
Perhaps they are praying
If this does not work for them
They fell into the year of luring
Even when they rejoice in what they were given
They reached the peak of tyranny and corruption
They thought they had power over the earth and everything in it
The torment came upon them suddenly, and lo, they were helpless
God Almighty said
We were sent to nations before you
So We took them through hardship and adversity
Perhaps they are praying
Had He not brought to them Our punishment, they had supplicated
But their hearts were hardened, and Satan made them look good
What they were doing
When they forgot what they were reminded of
We opened the doors to everything for them
Until, when they rejoiced in what they had been given, We seized them suddenly
So they are confused
He cut off the roots of the people who had wronged
Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds
God has various kinds of partial torment
On Pharaoh and his people before they were destroyed
God Almighty said
So We sent upon them the flood, locusts, and lice
Frogs and blood are detailed verses
So they were arrogant and were a criminal people
When they broke their covenant and insisted on their negligence
Clear destruction has come to them
God Almighty said
When We removed from them the punishment for their term
Exaggerate it if they break it
So we took revenge on them and drowned them in the sea
Because they denied Our signs and were heedless of them
