Satan's goals and purposes
The general goal that Satan seeks to achieve
It is to throw a person into the fire
And it deprives him of Paradise just as it deprived him of it
God Almighty said
He only calls on his party to be among the companions of the Blaze
Its detailed objectives for achieving this goal and its means for doing so are numerous
From her
Firstly
Leading people into polytheism and disbelief
God Almighty said
Like Satan when he said to man, “He is ungrateful.”
When he disbelieved, he said, “I am innocent of you.”
And in the Holy Hadith
And I created all of My servants as being pure
And the devils came to them
So I drove them away from their religion
And I forbade for them what I made permissible for them
And I commanded them to associate anything with Me for which I did not send down any authority

Secondly
Trapping them into heresy
This is more beloved to Satan than falling into sin
Because its harm is in religion
Because sin can be repented of
As for heresy
It is rare for the owner to repent of it
Because he does not believe that he is wrong and sinful
Third
Trapping them into sins and transgressions
That is when he will not be able to lead them into polytheism and disbelief
As God Almighty said
He only commands you to do evil and immorality
And that you say about God what you do not know
And the Almighty said
Satan only wants to create enmity and hatred between you through alcohol and gambling
It prevents you from remembering God and praying
Are you finished?
And other verses
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
Indeed, Satan has despaired of ever being worshiped in this country of yours
But obedience will be due to Him in any of your deeds that you despise
He will be satisfied with it
Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and authenticated by Al-Albani
Fourth
Prevent them from obedience and worship
God Almighty also mentioned what Satan said
He said, “Because you have led me astray, I will remain for them on your straight path.”
Then I will come to them from before them, from behind them, from their right, and from their left
You will not find most of them thankful
And the Almighty said
Satan only wants to create enmity and hatred between you through alcohol and gambling
It prevents you from remembering God and praying
Are you finished?
This also includes corrupting the worship and obedience of human beings
Whether it is obsessive about it
Or introducing hypocrisy into the heart of the servant
Or distract him from humility and contemplation in his worship
And so on

Preoccupying them with permissible matters and expanding them
Sixth
Preoccupying them with the virtuous rather than the virtuous
Seventh
He casts out his guardians from the devils of the jinn and mankind to harm the servants of God
When he despaired of misleading them
