A summary of the concepts held by the Ahl al-Sunnah.
Contemporary issues threatening the Muslim family.
Among the grave issues threatening the Muslim family and the Muslim home:
First, the issue of "women's liberation."
This is a cause championed by atheists, secularists, hypocrites, and their ilk.
They claim to desire freedom for women and to deliver them from the injustice and enslavement they supposedly endure.
In reality, their call is for women to abandon the hijab and to intermingle with men.
They have labeled this "women's liberation."
They forget that Allah, the Almighty, is the One who guaranteed women their rights and honored them.
This is well-established in the Qur'an and the Sunnah.
What they are calling for is, in truth, the destruction of the family.
Second, and even more severe than the aforementioned, is what is currently known as the "independent woman."
This is a movement adopted by feminist organizations.
Known as the feminist movement.
It goes beyond the scope of "women's liberation."
By propagating the concept that a woman has no need for a man.
And that she should live independently in her own private home.
They see no objection to her bringing whomever she wishes into it as lovers or companions.
She is to be the one who provides for herself.
And she is the one who has, by their claim, the full right and freedom to live however she pleases.
Currently, a counter-feminist movement has emerged in America.
It calls for women to return to their primary role in the home and the raising of children.
It has an influence on politics today, especially in America.
Third, and more dangerous than all of the above:
The current widespread support for homosexual men and women.
They permit a woman to suffice with a woman like herself.
And a man with a man like himself.
This is the act of the people of Lot.
That alone is sufficient as a crime and an obscenity.
They call for them to live together in one home.
And they claim that this constitutes a family.
They deceptively and alluringly label this group "homosexuals."
In the West, they have enacted laws and systems.
That permit the marriage of a man to a man and a woman to a woman.
Indeed, the matter has now reached the point of criminalizing those who object to it.
And they have threatened to impose penalties upon them.
By Allah, this is the very essence of declaring the forbidden lawful and legislating besides Allah.
Let the Muslims hold fast to their Shari'ah.
Let them reject this with strength.
And let them expect the wrath of Allah, His curse, and His destruction upon everyone who permits this.
“And he of Egypt who purchased him said unto his wife: Receive him honourably. Perchance he may prove useful to us or we may adopt him as a son. Thus we established Joseph in the land that We might teach him the interpretation of events. And Allah was predominant in His career, but most of mankind know not.” (12:21)
