Summary of Sunni concepts
Two things, each of which causes the truth to be concealed or obscured by falsehood
It causes the world to conceal the truth or cover it with falsehood
Either the fear of harm from the people of falsehood
Or love of desires and greed for the mortal world
Concealing the truth and covering it with falsehood out of greed for this world is not permissible under any circumstances
It is one of the greatest sins, as mentioned above
Concealing truth with falsehood for fear of harm is also not permissible
Because it leads people astray
There may be no one to explain this to them and protect them from it
As for silence only about the truth
Fearing severe harm that the bitter person might not be able to bear
He may be tempted in his religion by that
Perhaps he would then be justified in remaining silent
If he hopes that others will speak out the truth
Who is better able to bear harm than him
Or he is protected from it happening to him
The matter depends, first and foremost, on fear of God Almighty
And prevent corruption as much as possible
And the bottom line
If you are unable to tell the truth
Do not say falsehood
