Summary of the concepts of Ahl al-Sunnah
The Sirat is the bridge extended over the back of Hellfire.
People will cross it according to their deeds in this world.
Whoever adhered more closely to the Straight Path and guidance in this world,
their crossing of the bridge of the Hereafter will be faster.
Some will cross like lightning, some like the wind,
some like a swift horse,
some will run,
some will walk,
and some will crawl.
The believers will cross this bridge at varying speeds.
As for the disbelievers,
grappling hooks will snatch them as they try to cross it,
and they will be thrown into the Fire.
Hadiths have been narrated concerning this.
We believe in it and submit.
