My father was one of the first people of Medina to convert to Islam
He pledged allegiance to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, on the night of Aqaba
My mother is Umm Amara
The first woman to carry arms in defense of religion
In defense of the faithful Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace
My brother Abdullah with his skinny body pushed the arrows of the polytheists away from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, on the day of Uhud
He participated in the killing of Musaylimah the Liar
Before he fell as a martyr in the Garden of Death
As for me
I had a sacrifice that was unimaginable to me
A story happened to me with Musaylimah
Written in marvels
In the tenth year of the Hijra
The Banu Hanifa delegation returned to Najd
After he pledged allegiance to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
And they took their prizes from him
As soon as they landed in their homes
Until Musaylimah rose among them, claiming prophethood
Some people from Banu Hanifa apostatized
They followed their companion, Musaylimah, who was hot-tempered and nervous
Until there were many people around him
So he sent a message to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
In it, he tells him that he has been involved in the matter of prophecy with him
And he is a messenger to the people of Al-Yamamah
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, answered him
With a message saying
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
From Muhammad, the Messenger of God, to Musaylimah the Liar
Peace be upon those who follow guidance
As for after
The earth belongs to God and He gives it to whomever He wishes of His servants
And the outcome is for the righteous
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, chose me
To send this message to Musaylimah
So I went to the enemy of God
When she entered, she handed him the book
When he read, he became angry
He ordered his guards to handcuff me
Then he told me
Do you bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God?
I said yes
And he said
I bear witness that I am the Messenger of God
I said
I am deaf, I cannot hear
He ordered his executioner to cut off a piece of my body
So he did
Then he told me again
Do you bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God?
So I said yes
And he said
I bear witness that I am the Messenger of God
So I said
I am deaf, I cannot hear
He ordered his executioner to cut off a second piece of my body
He did that repeatedly
Until I became a soul in half a body
Then my spirit was overflowing
And I fell a martyr
When the news of my death came to my mother
She took it back and said
It is for this situation that I prepared
And with God I counted it
The Messenger pledged allegiance on the night of Aqaba when he was young
And today he fulfilled his great duty
If God enables me to free him
I would make his daughters blush at him
Then during the caliphate of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with him
I went out with my brother Abdullah
To fight the apostates in the Battle of Al-Yamamah
She started the war herself
She was seriously injured
She means the enemy of God is safe
When I reached him
I found him lying in the dirt
My brother killed him
