The prophetic Sunnahs are firmly established,
including performing a two-rak'ah prayer after making ablution.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"Whoever performs ablution like this ablution of mine,
and then prays two rak'ahs without allowing his mind to wander during them,
all his previous sins will be forgiven."
