00:00:00.180 --> 00:00:08.900
A summary of the concepts held by the Ahl al-Sunnah.

00:00:08.900 --> 00:00:14.369
The impact of understanding the causes of cosmic phenomena.

00:00:14.369 --> 00:00:23.370
Knowledge of the causes of cosmic phenomena should not negatively affect the fruits of reflecting upon the cosmic signs themselves.

00:00:23.370 --> 00:00:27.370
For instance, understanding the effect of gravity on celestial bodies should not diminish this reflection.

00:00:27.370 --> 00:00:32.369
Nor should understanding that the alternation of night and day results from the relationship between the sun and the earth.

00:00:32.369 --> 00:00:37.369
Or the causes of solar and lunar eclipses, and so forth.

00:00:37.369 --> 00:00:43.369
The realization of these facts should not diminish the impact of reflecting upon these signs.

00:00:43.369 --> 00:00:48.369
In terms of directing a person toward the Lord of this universe with worship and veneration.

00:00:48.369 --> 00:00:53.369
Rather, it should guide them toward the immense power of Allah, the Creator.

00:00:55.520 --> 00:00:58.520
