00:01:10.769 --> 00:01:12.769 He is the youngest of us." 00:01:12.769 --> 00:01:15.769 The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, 00:01:15.769 --> 00:01:17.769 "Send him to me." 00:01:17.769 --> 00:01:20.769 When they returned to their camp, they said to the boy, 00:01:20.769 --> 00:01:24.769 "Go to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, 00:01:24.769 --> 00:01:26.769 And have your needs met by him, 00:01:26.769 --> 00:01:29.769 For we have already had our needs met by him." 00:01:29.769 --> 00:01:34.769 When the young boy came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, 00:01:34.769 --> 00:01:36.769 He said, "O Messenger of Allah, 00:01:36.769 --> 00:01:39.769 I am a man from the tribe of Abda, 00:01:39.769 --> 00:01:42.769 And you have fulfilled the needs of the people; 00:01:42.769 --> 00:01:44.769 Please fulfill my need." 00:01:44.769 --> 00:01:46.769 The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, asked, 00:01:46.769 --> 00:01:48.769 "And what is your need?" 00:01:48.769 --> 00:01:49.769 He said, 00:01:49.769 --> 00:01:52.769 "My need is not like the needs of my companions. 00:01:52.769 --> 00:01:55.769 By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, 00:01:55.769 --> 00:01:57.769 Nothing brought me from my land 00:01:57.769 --> 00:02:00.769 Except that you ask Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, 00:02:00.769 --> 00:02:02.769 To forgive me and have mercy on me, 00:02:02.769 --> 00:02:05.769 And to place my wealth within my heart." 00:02:05.769 --> 00:02:07.769 The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, 00:02:07.769 --> 00:02:09.770 Turning his attention to the boy, 00:02:09.770 --> 00:02:12.770 "O Allah, forgive him and have mercy on him, 00:02:12.770 --> 00:02:14.770 And place his wealth within his heart." 00:02:14.770 --> 00:02:18.770 He then ordered for him the same as he had ordered for the men of his companions. 00:02:18.770 --> 00:02:21.770 They departed, returning to their people. 00:02:21.770 --> 00:02:26.770 Later, he returned a second time to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, 00:02:26.770 --> 00:02:29.770 During the season at Mina in the tenth year. 00:02:29.770 --> 00:02:32.770 The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, asked, 00:02:32.770 --> 00:02:35.770 "What has become of the boy who came to me with you?" 00:02:35.770 --> 00:02:36.770 They replied, 00:02:36.770 --> 00:02:39.860 "We have never seen his like, 00:02:39.860 --> 00:02:43.860 Nor have we heard of anyone more content with what Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, has provided him. 00:02:43.860 --> 00:02:46.860 If people were to divide the world among themselves, 00:02:46.860 --> 00:02:48.860 He would not look toward them, 00:02:48.860 --> 00:02:50.860 Nor would he turn his attention to them." 00:02:50.860 --> 00:02:52.860 The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, 00:02:52.860 --> 00:02:55.860 "I truly hope that he dies in a state of wholeness." 00:02:55.860 --> 00:02:58.930 One of them asked, "O Messenger of Allah, 00:02:58.930 --> 00:03:01.930 Does a man not die in a state of wholeness?" 00:03:01.930 --> 00:03:03.930 The Prophet, peace be upon him, replied, 00:03:03.930 --> 00:03:08.930 "His desires and concerns become scattered across the valleys of the world, 00:03:08.930 --> 00:03:12.930 So his appointed time may overtake him in one of those valleys, 00:03:12.930 --> 00:03:17.930 And Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, will not care in which of its valleys he perishes." 00:03:17.930 --> 00:03:19.060 They said, 00:03:19.060 --> 00:03:24.060 "That boy lived in the best of states, the most ascetic in the world, 00:03:24.060 --> 00:03:27.060 And the most content with what he was provided." 00:03:27.060 --> 00:03:30.060 When the Prophet, peace be upon him, passed away, 00:03:30.060 --> 00:03:33.060 And the people of Yemen apostatized from Islam, 00:03:33.060 --> 00:03:35.060 This young man stood among his people, 00:03:35.060 --> 00:03:38.060 Reminding them of Allah and Islam. 00:03:38.060 --> 00:03:40.060 They returned to Islam, 00:03:40.060 --> 00:03:43.060 And not a single one of them returned to apostasy. 00:03:43.060 --> 00:03:45.120 How wondrous is the youth! 00:03:45.120 --> 00:03:48.250 How much resolve and energy they possess. 00:03:48.250 --> 00:03:52.250 For this young man, through the supplication of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, 00:03:52.250 --> 00:03:55.250 Became a caller to Allah the Almighty, 00:03:55.250 --> 00:03:57.250 A striver in the path of Da'wah. 00:03:57.250 --> 00:04:01.379 Were it not for him, the people of Yemen would have remained in their apostasy. 00:04:01.379 --> 00:04:03.379 So, O youth, 00:04:03.379 --> 00:04:05.379 Let your resolve be in Da'wah, 00:04:05.379 --> 00:04:08.379 And let your resolve be in contentment and asceticism. 00:04:08.379 --> 00:04:13.370 You have in this youth of Yemen a lesson and an admonition. 00:04:20.689 --> 00:04:24.689 Seek ever-greater closeness to the Most Merciful, 00:04:24.689 --> 00:04:28.689 So that joy may embrace you. 00:04:28.689 --> 00:04:32.689 Attach your soul to your Lord, 00:04:32.689 --> 00:04:36.689 And fill the horizons with light. 00:04:36.689 --> 00:04:40.879 For whoever obeys the Lord, 00:04:40.879 --> 00:04:45.069 Dissolves into the sweetest of feelings. 00:04:45.069 --> 00:04:49.069 There is darkness, then light, 00:04:49.069 --> 00:04:53.069 And life thereafter. 00:04:53.069 --> 00:04:57.069 If Allah wills a thing, 00:04:57.069 --> 00:05:01.069 He says to it, 'Be,' and it is brought into being.
