On the authority of ‘Abdullah Ibn Mas‘ud (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:

That He should be obeyed and not disobeyed,

And that He should be thanked and not shown ingratitude,

And that He should be remembered and not forgotten.

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

"Whoever wishes to be distanced from the Fire and admitted into Paradise,

Let death come to him while he believes in Allah and the Last Day,

And let him treat people as he would love to be treated himself."
