Strictness is not sought to permit leniency.
And if strictness is validated in the rulings of transactions when people are corrupt,
it is to be a deterrent treatment and a barrier to means.
Then the matter of devotional rites differs,
as they are an accounting between the servant and his Lord.
And the interests of people are not directly related to them,
like the rulings of transactions where the outward appearance is considered.
As for the outward appearance in acts of worship, it is of no avail
unless it is founded upon the piety of hearts.
